Have you noticed how some players just shine when the lights are one and others seem to be hesitant. That is one area that is hard to judge in practice. Some players excel during practice, but come game time they don't produce. Others ( not to say they don't practice hard) don't seem to be "great" during practice, but when game time comes, they are at their best. It is something we can't know yet, it was only UCA bears. But, Bo seems to fit in that second category. He never seemed to distance himself in practice, but was clearly at his best during the game.
Barry did a good job of running, and his passing stats looked pretty good, but his passes were ugly and Jamal Mosley caught them anyway. I wonder if Barry practices better than he plays... Just wondering.....

An ugly pass gave Eli his first Super Bowl MVP. And possibly his second.

AMEN to that
I'm sorry but every time Barry throws the ball my heart palpitates. If he tries to throw balls like that against a good defense they will be intercepted. In fact, I would say that this weekend he will probably throw a interception.

Guys, hop off of Barry until he screws up please.. I mean he threw a touchdown but it was not a perfect spiral? Are you kidding me? I will bet you a cold pop that he will not throw an interception this weekend..

Not when that same pass is a pick, or worse yet, a pick 6 against better talent. Our talented receivers won't be able to out-talent the talented DB's from the likes of 'Bama & LSU. Accuracy will be of the utmost importance.JustBlues wrote:an ugly pass is a pass that is not caught. A very ugly pass is a pass that is caught by the other team.
