I agree that the Texas game will be a good barometer. But I think the days of our getting beat as bad as we did the last two years under Nutt will be over. You get beat like that because you have no guidance and don't believe you can win. All teams take on the personality of their HC, and the last year particularly, Nutt and his staff didn't care, so neither did the players with a few exceptions.
Texas has been an average team the last two years, struggling to win six games. I don't see them beating anybody 56-0. The round robin among Ole Miss, BYU and Texas last year produced two, low-scoring, one-point games. I think this game is in play at Vaught-Hemingway.
