I'm sorry but there will be three sec teams that I will NEVER root for. I refuse to root for Alabama because of how they are allowed to get away with anything and everything by Slive, and I cannot in good conscience root for LSU or State. *beep* all of them.

I will root for them all. Strong conference helps us ultimately.

All SEC teams are favored in their bowls, but I do wonder about State versus Northwestern. I think the wrong team is favored.

Agreed my Rebel brethen. Now excuse me while I go start drinking. I stopped drinking in 1987. But on New Year's Eve, I'll go back to that era when I was a PARTY ANIMAL. :o

LSU's bowl record now falls to 22-21-3. Tiger fans will be restless again.

Typical miles...let a lesser team hang around... Mismanage the clock and have a less than effective offense!

Lsu proved 2 things last night - an up tempo offensive scheme can do very well against SEC defenses and Miles' offensive scheme is beyond out of date. Change or eat dust.

An LSU customer of mine and I were having lunch right after the season ended, and she again emphasized to me how much Miles drove her crazy. She still can't get over that LSU-Auburn game a few years back where Miles could have kicked an easy field goal to win it but instead threw for a TD on fourth down with a few seconds left and got away with it. With knowledgeable fans this kind of stuff sticks. They know that it's symptomatic of a *beep* loose somewhere, and their expectation, like 'Bama fans, is to win the NC every year. She admitted to me that this year Ole Miss definitely outplayed LSU and deserved to win, and I expect she sees that we will not be an easy out every year under Freeze. Meanwhile, Miles is more concerned with his grass and his hats. My opinion is that he's a good coach but not a great one and that the level of talent he gets at LSU has saved him more than once. Long-term, it cannot save him.
