There is no reason to keep him around after this latest massive failure. We now have to win out to make the NCAAT. Going into todays game our RPI was around 47. We have no other RPI boosting teams on our schedule. We started the season out 17-2! If AK fails to pull this out and take us to the tournament after starting off 17-2 then he needs to be fired....plain and simple. I'm not being a nellie, I'm not being unreasonable. I am being a fan who is sick and tired of seeing this program fail under Andy Kennedy's watch.

You are justified in being upset but I think we all know by now you want Kennedy fired. Should just add to your other posts about it. This is major rehash.

Who shot the final shot and how badly did it miss? I had to turn it off with a few minutes remaining.

On a different topic, MSU only scored 10 points in the first half against Missouri and are currently losing 71-31........

I don't think we can afford to lose another regular season game now.

Losing is bad enough but having Little "E" do his daddy's school in makes it even worse. I went to almost everyone of his daddy's games!

His boy is a better offensive player but Big E was a GREAT defensive player!

Been done with him for 2 years.... If people couldn't see the problems against Vandy and Auburn, then they are blind. We aren't getting worse. We are the same. The team stinks because we don't play defense and have no real offense either. *beep* poor coaching every year with good to great talent will get you the bubble every year. AK sucks

So what we won? We played terribly in both games. Vandy shot lights out and we had to get lucky to win on a last second miracle shot by Henderson to go to OT. Our defense was terrible both games. Auburn shot very well also and had control of the game until we pulled it out at end. Neither are good teams and we struggled with both due to poor defense, poor offense--IMO coaching problems since it is consistently bad every year under AK. We just have out-talented our opposition whenever we win.

So I guess if we play RPI 300 teams and win "it don't matter"? Then we should just drop to DII basketball and win all our games against lesser competition right? Just win baby! You don't understand sports if you can't see bad play in a win or good play in a loss.

Most followers of this site know all too well that I carry the torch named Kennedy.

Even I am becoming a bit concerned. A bit. However, I am not sure that this recent trend of losing is terribly code red alarming. Ladies and Gentlemen, this just in, Kentucky gets better talent in Lexington than the talent received in Oxford. Has something to do with National prominence or something; some Rupp guy. In other news, Billy Donovan has won two, count them both, back to back National Championships. Moving to other news, Missouri has itself a Basketball team that is and was projected to be a pretty big threat to win on a high level in this current basketball season, also just in, the loss to the Tigers came on the road after we thumped them in Mississippi.

Admittedly, the loss to A&M is concerning; perplexing.

Not good at all. The team just laid an egg.

Speaking of eggs, perhaps we should all just run a muck, flaying our arms all about, running to and fro because by all standards the sky is falling, right chicken little(s)?

Re-freaking-lax people.

With the exception of A&M the other five losses have come at the hands of legitimate tournament teams. And at risk of sounding like Woody Paige of "Around the Horn and Denver Post" fame, look at the schedule!

To whomever said that there was a need to run the table for the remaining conference schedule? poppy-cock. If that indeed did occur, a running of the table would give us a record of 25-6 in the regular season. If we we were one and done in the conference tournament, we'd still make it to the dance. That is unlikely to happen though. What is likely to happen is that we will enjoy a 5-2 run over those last seven games with four of those games being at home sweet home. And despite that eye-sore know as Tad Smith Coliseum (no disrespect, Tad), our guys play pretty well in that building.

As for you Mr Brk (most folks spell "Fast Break", alot like "Fast Break"), I can understand yours and everyone's concern here, but to say that the team and AK "sucks" is nothing short of ignorant. Winning is what you want. Good teams win ugly all the time. Good teams also lose ugly. It's often referred to as the nature of the beast. the last time I looked twelve games North of .500 does not belong in the realm of "suck". Slow your roll.

Lastly, it seems as though I am really asking this question on the ears of the deaf, because none have offered an answer to this point-if you get rid of Kennedy- you replace him with _____.

That's what I thought. Let's see how the season plays out.

Chill.
