For first time in Memory I just can't watch the rest of this. Leave it with you guys. Without a doubt worst coached game of Freezes tenure. Sickening.

At least there was an upset this year for the Rebels. At worst it was an extra win. Got to take care of things next week to make this season worth while at all.

Freeze has been out coached a few times this year. This isn't a shocker for me. That Mizzu coach has been around for a lot of ups and downs.

Absolute *beep* game all the way around. Reminds me of the Bama game. There is no excuse to jump nine million times at home. Need to get our *beep* together quickly.

I'm so sick of thinking we will light it up, only to *beep* the bed.

Tonight the Coach and staff at the adult table schooled the Coach and staff at the kid's table. If this is how we come out next week we will be the first winning program State beats in 3 years and we will have a dry run for our upcoming Memphis series with a trip to the Liberty Bowl. Very disappointing. But hey I've got my health!

Hugh, welcome back out of the AP poll. You deserve it! How about we try not to waste possessions or the game clock on Thanksgiving.

Bo, thanks for your effort while you were sick! I'm just sorry Freeze pulled you every chance you had to finish a TD drive. We know you could have scored if he had let you keep the momentum going.

Defense, practice tackling the next few days. Remember, grab and wrap, grab and wrap! Keep chanting those words. Put your arms around the guy with the ball. The Egg Bowl will be over at halftime if you have a repeat of tonight.

Yeah, I guess if we loose MSU will probably go to Birmingham, so we'll be in Memphis. I'll be so ticked though that I sure won't be going to it... And I live just outside of Memphis.

dam boys, we got beat. that's it. won't win them all for a couple more years. ok we had some bad decisions. ok we had some moments of no execution. don't take away from mizzou playing a dang good game. if we had executed it would have gone down to the wire. coaching? maybe. yet coach was trying to win. I remember not to long ago that coaching was just to keep a game close. bs on that. yes I don't like the loss but im not straying from the long range progress I can see.

Bo Wallace was running high fever and had IVs before the game, which tells you a lot. Defense was good but got knife a few times. Mizzou for the most part stopped our run. That changes the options you have as a coach. Come on guys!

I can't find a way to blame Freeze for this loss...I can lay it squarely on the WR's dropping gift passes and tackling from the D. Bo being sick didn't help and Brunetti while giving a herculean effort just doesn't have the talent to play with a Mo team with that much D speed and physicality.

Freeze said several weeks ago the NEITHER freshman QB is ready to see action yet. Ryan Buchanan's arm strength isn't what it needs to be and Devante Kincade doesn't make the throws when he needs to. So putting either one of these in would be a step down from Brunette. We don't have enough SEC caliber linemen on either side of the ball right now. The ones we do have are freshmen and sophs. And this hurts us as much as anything. nutt didn't leave us much talent along the lines, and this isn't fixed overnight. We're still a couple of years away from having the kind of line we need to win constantly in this league. Several players we needed to have big years have been MIA alot of the time. Simple fact, we're not there yet, give it a little more time before u throw the coach out with the bath water.
u can never judge a book by how it chews its food

So I don't post here much but read the forum daily. Here is a few things from someone who has been to every home game except SEMO and Idaho. First this team plays with heart. In the last couple of weeks we have been slow getting started. I don't know if it was having the 11:00 games or if we were overlooking the opponents to try to prepare for bigger competition. Either way, we did we had to do to get the W, which you couldn't say 2 years ago. Just like someone else posted, last night just didn't feel right. Pregame in the stadium seemed disorganized. There was a lot of red in that stadium but there was also a lot of black and gold. I would even dare to say that there were more visiting fans for this game than any other game at home this year. This may come back to Ole Miss fans selling their tickets to MO fans. The crowd was really into the game at the beginning and it was loud in the Vaught. The first drive were MO scored seemed to deflate that some. Then the student section started clearing out in the 2nd quarter and was nearly empty by the beginning of the 4th quarter. What kind of message does that send to the players and the faith that the fans have in them? If you don't believe that affects them then you can keep drinking your "we may not win every game but we never loose a party" koolaid. I thought that our coaches did a pretty good job of getting this team prepared for this game. We had our opportunities but could not capitalize. As someone else said, we are just not quite there yet. All week all I heard was how good their receivers were. Just remember that we had more passing yards than they did albeit our rushing game is still lacking. This is all with Bo having battled the flu for 3 days prior to this game. For those of you who are critical of Bo need to step back and take a reality check. He was given IV fluids before the game and was still running fever when he stepped on the field. He was noted puking on the sidelines during the game. There was a reason we put Brunetti in when we did, Bo simply could NOT go. For those of you that want to jump on the "It's all Freeze's fault bandwagon" need to remember that the 4 teams we have lost to have all been ranked in the top 10 at some point this year. When was the last time you can say that? It's time to take a reality check guys. Freeze even said that he felt this years team was better than last but may end up with a worse record. In my book we are ahead of schedule. I think one of the main things that needs to happen for us to be competitive in the SEC year in and year is, the mentality of the fan base HAS to change. This game was not out of hand even going into the last 8:00 minutes of the game and the stand were almost empty. That is ridiculous. Then people get on here and bash the players and bash the coaches and say what a *beep* poor job they are doing. Do you not think that all that affects the team? For once put your unrealistic expectations aside and realize that this is a work in progress and that we are headed in the right direction. Let's support this team and this staff and get this W against Moo U. If we don't believe in them and they don't believe in themselves then it will be a long night in Starkville.

Sorry for the rant but I had to get that off my chest. I was very disappointed in our fan-base last night.
