Yep. SEC! But give them their due credit. They really are pretty darn good.

My cable and Internet went out last night here in Oxford with a tornado-like storm, not to mention that I just got back on this site after my old computer crashed over ten days ago, I bought a new one and had a hella time getting a new password. I've been unable to post during the regional and Super until this morning. But I note that those Cajun posters are not around anymore. Some of them found a couple of my earlier posts, such as the one in which I criticized the committee early about national seeds, ULL getting one and our lack of one. I was called an idiot by a couple of Cajuns, among other things, for my posts but could not respond. Some of you guys did a great job in holding them at bay while they flooded our site. Meanwhile a record 2 national seeds will go to Omaha, leaving the field as wide open as it's ever been. This could be our year in more ways than one!
Anyhoo, I couldn't be happier for all of our coaches and players to get over the hump in what was the toughest draw in the tournament. And karma can be *beep*, can't it? We have the opportunity for some payback against both Virginia and TCU in our bracket. I like our chances with our pitching and hitting. What a great ride this postseason so far! But I don't think we're finished making major noise in Omaha. Cheers to Mike for the best season-ever, and I anticipate many more to come!

I have a customer who lives in Crowley, La, who wanted to know if I was coming to Lafayette for the Super. I told her that I'd tried to get tickets but wasn't able to. She and I discuss sports calmly all the time--I'm sure she's disappointed that the Cajuns didn't win, but I expect to hear from her with some sort of congratulations. It's entirely possible to enjoy sports without talking smack all the time.
