Welcome to the board SmallVolRebel. I can't help you with the parking questions, but I'm sure someone on here will.

Called the Athletic Foundation today with questions about my parking permit. When I ordered my football season tickets back in June, I also paid $100 for an on campus parking permit. Last year we parked at the Oxford Middle School to ride the shuttle bus. The shuttle also picks up at the recreation area tennis courts too just down the street from the school lot. Spaces are limited so get there early at least 3 hours before game time. $5 each to ride to and from the stadium. Just be sure and get in the correct waiting line at the stadium to get back to the correct lot where you parked.

I was told that I would be parking on Hawthorn Drive in one of the lots near the soccer fields. According to the map included with my Athletic Foundation decal "S" for starter, that is apprx. 4,000 feet from the stadium! Closer to park at the Middle School and walk from there!

Also, I was told that I would not know which lot near the soccer fields until I get my tickets at the end of the month.

This time we are bringing our adult daughter. She has never been to an Ole Miss home game, and I want her to really experience the Grove atmosphere. She has heard me talk about the Grove and the beauty of Ole Miss so much that I want to be sure she has the best possible experience. The last time the Alumni tent "took us in"; all we did was ask for directions and Wow! [The first half UT won, the second half Ole Miss won (and won the game), and before, during, and after the game everyone was so nice to us.] Everyone was so wonderful. Can any one give me advice? I have tickets and a room in Albany, but anything about parking, where to walk, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!
Also a VOL FAN here! If you know of anybody selling tickets at the last minute please let me know.....I need 2. You can email me at swalker3030@yahoo.com

thanks!
