I am a VOL fan coming to Oxford for the first time and have some questions.

1. From what I have read Oxford Middle School is a good place to park. What is the walking distance to the stadium? And what are other alternative parking places would be good?

2. I don't have tickets yet. If I have to try and get tickets prior to kick off, where is the best place to purchase (ex) gate numbers, street corners. Also are there any laws on scalping?

3. What are the game day traditions that a visitor should see?

4. Also can you provide a list of places to visit around town and places to eat.

I think that's about all!
Thanks

The walk from the middle school to the grove is just under 1.5 miles. If that poses a problem, the shuttle picks up at the middle school and is reasonably priced. I just like to walk and on a nice fall day it is a beautiful walk.

Parked at the new Oxford High School on Sisk. Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig parking lots there. Plenty of room to park unlike the tiny Middle School parking lot.

Stayed for the entire game. Long, long, long line to load up to go back. There were TWO buses running! The Middle School with a TINY parking lot had SEVEN buses running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AFTER ALL the Middle School parkers were taken, then more buses went into the HS line!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took TWO hours to get back to the car after the game. And everybody whines and moans because people don't stay for the entire game.
