Just watched Ross and a talking head over at OleMissSports.com. They talked about the renaming of a street, the helmet, and then Ross said that there would be another item on Saturday with a BIG smile. Don't know what that will be.

It is one of those "3 things to know about gameday" thingys.

They have a 38 in the end zones. Don't know if that's anything to do with it

So what are they saving the #38 helmets for?

Shame that the #38 helmets would have been an NCAA violation, but glad to see the powder blue's. I know several have posted their dislike for the powder blue helmets, but they are my personnel favorite.

Loved them as a one time thing. Would not want to see them on a weekly basis..

I wondered about that. So is our admin REALLY that stupid that we spent money on helmets we couldn't wear? Or did we think there was a loophole. Those helmets aren't cheap! That money could have gone towards all the campus improvements.

Hated them helmets! I AM old school, but don't like the helmets. Almost, and I repeat, almost reminds me of those awful gold helmets of ms stake.

do you really think we buy new helmets for every game...all we did was change the stickers/decals... those are cheap... Geez wake up and think out of the box for once. We probably did buy the powder blues... but the 38 was just stickers.
Later,
Hagar
