Perhaps some of these stats are lower due to other play makers on the field and not just one man doing all the work because I saw a d*** good defense this year and it wasn't just golson doing it. How about I go dig up some below average defensive tackle that will never make it out of college and compare his stats with nkemdiche...will that mean he's better? Anyone in their right mind can see Bo Wallace was a better qb this year. Did I say he's an awesome qb...no, but he has gotten better.

I actually laugh when you say prewitt and golson hasn't gotten better under freeze. Get off the stat sheet and watch them play, then go back and watch a couple of years ago. Difference is, the whole team has gotten better.
How do you measure improvement if you "could give a crap about stats." Like it or not, football performance and improvement is measured by stats!

Points allowed, yards allowed, points scored, and yes... WINS and LOSSES are all stats!

But for a moment, let's step into a hypothetical world where we measure football performance excluding stats. Would maturity be a key component? Sederious threw a Freaking punch yesterday... improvement? Wallace made not 1 but at least 2 horrible decisions on passes thrown in critical situations yesterday that resulted in momentum ending interceptions... Improvement? These aren't kids anymore! Any of them would be tried as an adult in a court of law, why not in the court of public opinion.

I think it's fair to look at their totality of work and evaluate them according to their improvement or digression based on stats. You claim as a whole we have shown improvement. Just this season we've shown digression over the past 5 or six weeks!

I hope we pull the miracle upset in the Egg Bowl, but that won't change the digression we've witnessed the past month climaxing with the 30-0 blowout yesterday.

Hotty Toddy... Thank God it's Basketball Season

We haven't had a good OL all season. Other than Tunsil, our OL is just mediocre at best. Special teams are in the same boat on punts and kick-offs, even though we have a player that consistently put 80% of his kick-offs beyond the goal posts on kick-offs in HS, but was used primarily for punting when our original punter went sour halfway through the season. Our defense has played well, but with the lack of offensive power to give them a rest, they are suffering from the many turnovers created by the offense. Field goals are unsettling at best. I think our ST coaching needs help as well as the OL coaching.

We need help at QB and a big RB, but without an OL to block and make holes, it won't matter if you get the second coming of Deuce. No holes in the line will equate to no yards gaine, like this season.

But I guess the most disappointment I have witnessed is trying to identify what offense are we trying to run. Are we a fast break offensive team, a smash mouth running team, a pocket passing QB team, etc.? I don't think HF knows what he wants right now and maybe this is his learning curve. Mazhan runs a fast break offense at times, a rollout action pass offense at times, and smash mouth running football at times too. How? He has an offensive line that can run block and pass block. Just my two cents.

I am noticing a trend with out team. Name one player on our team(not just the Offensive line) who has gotten better since this coaching staff has taken over. And I don't mean players like Treadwell, Tunsil, or Nkemdiche who were already ridiculously gifted and just get better and faster b/c that's what talented players like that do. Not one O-Linemen is better outside of Tunsil.

Golson. Golson has gotten better. I can't think of anyone else. It seems like the O-Line has gotten worse as a unit.
Cody Core for one. Hilton for two.

You would think that out of two 4 star QBs one would step up and be good

Cody who? Believe I heard his name at the beginning of the year. Can't recall seeing him lately.

Disagree with your assessment of Hilton. He as played 4 different positions this year and played them extremely well. He is a head hunter for sure, stops the run, and has played better than last year for sure. When QB's avoid an area it is because the opponents player in that area has caused it. It isn't because he can throw in that direction or run in that direction.

Core has improved per his coaches in being a go to guy this year. If you watched any games last year and this year you would understand this improvement this year. Not sure your monicker of "proud 2 be a rebel" is in fact true as I find it hard to find what you are pleased with on this team - players or coaches. Maybe you want the 2-10 Nutt teams back. All I see is complaining from you about everything. Thus, I will just ignore you in the future as your posts lack a lot to be desired.
