We find a qb and we're in the mix next year

We have 7 starters returning on defense and 9 on offense. At WR next season we will have Stringfellow (transfer from Washington), Treadwell, Ingram, Adeboyjo, and Pack. We just have to either offer the Kelly kid or do a good job developing Buchanan or Kincade.

With Bo gone, I think Kincade and Buchanan will push each other this off season knowing the job is theirs to win, unlike last year when everyone knew Bo was the starter. I'm not overcome with fear or dread of the QB position as some. Personally, I think Kincade can develop into a superstar, maybe even a heis.... Nope. Stop right there. Don't want to put pressure on the kid. Our O-Line will be more mature and deeper next year so I think the QB, whoever it is, will be fine.

Edit: I'm not saying I don't think Buchanan can fill the position, I think he can admirably. I just prefer everything Kincade can potentially bring to our offense.

I expect our staff to go with the right guy after a healthy spring competition. There is no reason we can't be a player again, as we were this year. Ole Miss is nationally relevant again.

I'd rather have a young QB that can will be around a while than a JUCO transfer that has only 2 years.

Don't forget about Core at WR. Whoever ends up at QB will not be short of targets for sure.

Word is we signed a 6'5" qb from Louisiana very recently. I don't have a name but I am sure the recruiting guru's can provide one.

Jason Pellerin from Catholic HS / New Iberia, LA. Guess this is who u are talking about. He hasn't signed yet, but has committed. We'll probably have to fight off LSU among others to hold onto him.
