Nothing like a Dome on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. Regardless, either bowl is an 'Access' or Committee Bowl. Much will be made of this on Sunday afternoon when those slots are announced. The twelve teams that make the Sugar, Rose, Orange, Cotton, Fiesta and Peach will be certified as this year's college elite. The winners will finish in the Top Six Final Poll.

If we're one of that group, think of what Hugh Freeze will have accomplished in Year Three of his regime in Oxford. And think of what lies ahead. Exhale. The term 'national relevance' never sounded so sweet.
We played the first ever college game at Jerry World in 2009. Disappointing as that season was, I was lucky enough to take in that Cotton Bowl. Another win against Oklahoma St (my home state) and one unbelievable stadium experience.

That said, I sooooo want to be in the Orange Bowl. I won't make it if we get the bid, but it'd sure look nice on the resume.

That said (again) if we could go to the Peach that'd be aces too. Freeze said he wanted to begin and end the year in the same facility (Yes, I know he did not mean the Peach), but as an resident Atlanan-errr-ite, that would still be cool. I went to the Boise game, it would be cool to book-end it with a Peach Bowl.

Moreover, to me, it is kinda awesome to even have this discussion.

Don't get me wrong, the Compass, Music City, Independence Bowl discussions have been fine in the past, but we have amped it up a lil, or a lot. Way cool.

No Idea, as anyone here. We dunno. No one is from Atlanta. Great city, though.
