Erroll was the man! Cohen went all out to win this one, using two of his best pitchers. We are on track to take the series Friday night.

Cohen is brilliant. Moves outfielders in twice on Errol with two outs. Gotta throw that man out at the plate on ground ball single. Cohen says "Oh S@@t, he hit the ball over their heads." Three RBI's on two, two out doubles. Rebels win 4-3.

Rebels win 13-10. Had a little scare late, but held on to take the series. Now, let's get the BROOMS out and sweep the pups back to Starkville! Looks like Weathersby will get the start tomorrow, hopefully the bats stay hot.

Short is salty two nights in a row. Hope we don't need him tomorrow. Weathersby needs to be good and go long.
Hotty Toddy Sweep coming.

If the Rebs take the game today (Saturday), it will be a Sweep Year in the three major sports: Egg Bowl, both basketball games, Governor's Cup and Swayze Sweep.

Imagine the hangover the State players and fans have today.
I sent my uncle a message last night. He hasn't replied. He is a big booster for state. His roommate during college was Larry Templeton, their last AD. Always great to sweep state.

I was born in Ackerman, Ms. and have a family plot in Louisville, Ms. That's 15 miles apart and 30 miles from stanksville. Most my whole family went to state. I was the first to not go to state. Always great to beat them dogs. And a sweep..... I have til at least Nov. to enjoy it.
