Can we please retire the Liggins short yardage play?

This wore me out. Thought we had won it lost it numerous times. Finally over with a W. Going to bed.

Thought it was the right play... You could make the argument that if they didnt get too cute on the 2 pt conversion to RN, it would have either worked or they might have put it on the shelf then...We played hard, but the great thing about it, we can get sooo much better...

I'm not second guessing the decision, just the play call. I've never liked that play with Liggins and I REALLY didn't like it with a depleted OL going against a very good DL that knows it's coming.

Agree about the 2 pt, that play was set up to fail.

I like the liggins package if they get him straight downhill... Where we get into trouble is running it as power and trying to pull a guard with everything wedged in like that... They end up stoning the puller, who liggins sometimes runs into... If you are gonna run it go big on big and try to win at the LOS.. Our O line NEEDS Tunsil...
