I have to agree with you on your statements in the past. He is NFL bound and we are better by having him as our QB. Of course, Hugh Freeze took a chance, but I don't think he had any other choice.

I think Freeze is a pretty good judge of character, all things considered.
Everyone under the sun knew the potential he had. But I think I remember those posts. No, he is not Eli and let him win 2 super bowl MVPs first. Our offense is designed for a QB to produce big numbers. The game we knew then is much different now.
Having said that, I don't want to take anything from Kelly. I'm proud to call him Ole Miss' QB and has been tremendous.
