Basically, right field is no longer going to be the bastion of freedom that it has been for years. Totally will ruin the mood of that area.

It's still free to students (with ID), and that's mainly who sits out there, so it'll be alright. Though I don't necessarily agree with the decision, it was inevitable. It was just a matter of time.

I buy my tickets to support the team and I enjoy the grandstand. Most non-students do the same, so really this isn't affecting very many people in the long run.

I bet when they have the new construction finished that it will go back to the good ole' days.

as long as I can carry a beer without being questioned, then it's all the freedom I need.
