fine, Hollander our only Sr. who started at 3rd has been hurt for about 8 games but might be back if so you'll see a lineup like this

1B-Matt Clark
2B-Ryan Schimpf
SS-DJ LeMahieu
3B-Michael Hollander
LF-Blake Dean
CF-Leon Landry
RF-Johnny Dishon
DH-Derek Helenihi
C-Micah Gibbs

LeMahieu, Landry, Gibbs, and Dishon are all true freshman and all but Dishon are hitting over .300 so far this year. We're alot more powerful this year 37 HR's but they seem to come in spurts.

Pitching is different every weekend so I really can't say.
Martin, Bradford, and Brown probably.

We're a young team 6 starters are either Fr. and So. but we are heating up at the right time as are yall.

Your turn

I agree. Your freshman are playing very well, but Helenihi is hitting everything that comes within 10 feet of the plate. The kid is en fuego.
We're going to have to shut him down to have a good chance at some wins.

I believe this series is going to come down to bats. LSU's pitching has demonstrated that it's hittable but ours is actually pitching well. They are struggling when they don't get run support. I think we'll pitch decently, but there will be NO shutouts this weekend. So it comes down to runs. If your guys pitch inspired and shut us down at the dish (which is VERY possible), we'll be in it deep. If your guys find a way to hit our aces..... we'll need to depend on bats to pick up the slack.
Either way, I think pitching will be a non-factor, this one will come down to hits and runs. Let's hope that what ever MB found in the lineup last weekend carries over, we're going to need it b/c this series is going to be an emotional battle. Home runs pump up the crowd and the team more than K's.....

I'm predicting a 2-1 series win for the Rebs.
LSU will get the Friday game 6-4 b/c we don't hit well.
We'll get sat and sun games though. 3-2 (small ball) on Sat and 14-5 (big ball) Sun.

Let's go REBELS!!!!!!!

no I will not be able to make the games this weekend but I will be listening on the radio.

Blake Martin our Friday night starter has been dominat in all 4 SEC games however not getting help from the bullpen most of the time, hence the 1-1 record.

Jordan Brown yall will probably hit pretty well because he relies alot on his fastball down in counts. Bradford has been pretty much his old self.

The series is going to be on our hitting, if we are too agressive we are going to give your arms alot of rest but if we don't swing the bat there are going to be alot of K's. I'm really not expecting us to win the series, so I hope we can build upon innings in which we have runners on.

Does your website have a live feed of the games usually or is that paid for?

it's paid for, we have that gamewatcher program that gives live stats but it goes up and down as it is kind of temperamental

the SEC just needs to create our own network, so more people could watch baseball games

That will never happen. As long as CBS, ESPN, and Fox Sports shows the massive love toward the conference, the SEC will not make their own network. Big Ten did it (why, who knows) and they got greedy with it and couldn't get it on cable systems.

Louisiana has the Jumbo network (is that the name?) that broadcasts some LSU baseball games. Then Florida has the Sunshine Network that broadcasts some UF games, but that's all that I know of. Wish MS had something like that.

The Jumbo Sports Network is doing *beep* this year, I don't know if their contract expired or what but there are no games that are on the road in the SEC (15 games) that are on cable in Baton Rouge.

Jumbo showed Tulane as well, but I would imagine if they did something for ole miss, they'd have to do it for memphis to help draw in a major market to watch the games

or they would have to cover ole miss, state, and USM and be based somewhere in the middle of the state with a travelling crew to handle everything

i mean, i'll do it, if somebody wants to help finance it, i'm just a lowly journalist

I've got a question for yall, what's happened to Jordan Henry this year he was real good along with Andrew Clark the year before but he transfered if I'm correct?

Jared Mitchell and Sean Ochinko for us last year were phenom freshman but have had slumps and gave way to hotter guys in the lineup if yall were wondering of their absenses.

Same with Jordan. He's a phenomenal athlete, but he's swinging a very cold stick right now. Love the kid, but when you don't get it done at the plate then you're going to ride the pine.
