But if the team that's not suppose to win, wins then the team that was suppose to win would of course not win, thus being the team that didn't win against a team they should win against, in which case the winning team would be the teat that shouldn't win but did win and would come out a winner in the end. And of course the winning team I predict will be the team that scores the most points in the game."

There's my John Madden impression of the day. :P
What if the team that's supposed to win is lactose intolerant? That had to be a Freudian slip, cause the "T" is way removed from the "M" on a standard QWERTY keyboard...

J/k, but I couldn't resist. Probably was a slip. Talk about a typo...

When Nutt was hired at Arkansas, I saw so many different improvements with the team over a period of several years (with the exception of '04 and '05) and I believe we have a lot to look forward to with him being the head coach at Ole Miss. Had it not been for those two unfortunate years, he would probably still be coaching at Arkansas. I'm looking forward to this next year as a Hog fan and a Rebel fan. We WILL win a lot more games with him as coach! Go Rebels!
He would probably still be coaching at U of A? You're crazy. AFTER those two seasons, Nutt went 7-1 and 4-4 in SEC over next two years and was still fired.

The Hogs got to 4-4 in SEC last year by beating LSU in triple OT in the last regular season game. Otherwise, Hogs and Nutt would have had a losing season in SEC with the greatest backfield Arkansas has ever had with McFadden, Jones and Hillis. If you can't do better than 4-4 in conference with those three in your backfield, something is wrong with your methods.

And to top it off, Nutt didn't finish well in '06 when the Hogs lost at home to LSU in last game of the year, then threw away the SECCG against Fla, then got embarrassed, at least on offense, by Wisconsin in the bowl game. Last year, Hogs were thrashed by Missouri in the Cotton Bowl, scoring one TD the entire game, although Nutt was crawling to Oxford then.

Good luck with Nutt. When he came to Fayetteville in '98, his slogan was "National Championship Under Construction". He never even sniffed that. I notice he hasn't said anything like that about Ole Miss' program. After about 4 or 5 seasons of Nutt, you'll realize that the best you'll get from him will be what he does in his first couple of years.

By the way, you should check Nutt's home SEC record since opening the new stadium in Fayetteville before the '01 season.

I would not wish Nutt on my worst enemy. Sorry you'll have to suffer through him but on the other hand, should be an easy win for the Hogs now.

It used to be a lot easier when they were in separate conferences. Ambivalence of this nature makes one feel awful. Ya can't win and ya can't lose and it's never a great feeling. Anyway, I will say this: I think we, i.e. Ole Miss will win in '08 but it won't be an easy win. Talk about a tough question! Go rebels!
You must be talking about a moral victory. Do you honestly think that Petrino and his boys cant figure out Nutty's offense? When I heard that Nutt will be calling his own plays next season I was on the floor laughing. I guess he took his five page playbook with him to oxford. Oh and by the way it is good to see that there is still at least one nutt hugger left.

Whether Nutt would still be the coach at Arkansas had it not been for the '04 and '05 season is really a moot point. He's at Ole Miss now and I've got better things to do than to be negative about it. I didn't join this board to argue with "Nutt Haters". I'm not a "Hater" nor am I defending him or his mistakes at Arkansas. I am a Hog fan and a Rebel fan. It has nothing to do with Houston Nutt, since I've been both since before HN was quarterbacking at Little Rock Central High. Now if I really had nothing better to do than to mentally "play with myself" about this childish HN BS, don't you think I could find a place like Hogville dot net to do that with Arkansas fans who have nothing better to do?

I am not trying to be negative about Nutt, just truthful. It just amazied me that you think that ole miss will beat arkansas in fayetteville in the upcoming season. We as true hog fans are looking forward to that game. Oh yeah there is no need to bash hogville either. You are just letting your true colors shine through

OK Razordamus, one thing for sure......the game won't be played with words on a message board. If it were, you might consider using spell-check first. I'm not bashing Hogville either. Just being truthful!

You seem to be getting pretty upset at me. All I have said about you is that your true colors of blue and red are coming out and that ole miss doesn't stand a chance in fayetteville for the upcoming game. I also love how you are calling me names and making fun of my spelling. You have upset me so I think that I will go cry now.

Oh yeah AR Rebel if you have been to hogville in a while then you would see for yourself that we are over bashing Nutt and his posse. We have better things to do since we have a better coach and staff. I apalogize for calling you a nutt hugger and that was wrong of me but I call my sister and her husband nutt huggers because they are mad that houston isn't the coach so now they are ole miss fans.

I used Razordamus merely as a term of endearment and thought it was rather complimentary. Maybe I'll use it in the future on the Arkansas boards. Now the spelling errors......well I admit that wasn't very nice. Now run along! I'd much rather be discussing more positive matters with Rebel Faithful while on this board.

One last thing and I will leave you alone. You were badmouthing hogville in an earlier post but the major difference that I have found it that there are people on hogville to talk to but most of the comments on rebelfaithful are from last month. So in order to get a reply you must wait some time before anyone answers. Seems almost like a ghost town at least today anyway. Just throwing that out there

So, go to Hogville and leave us be if we are so "last month". Why do you even waste your precious time?

I don't have a problem with Hogville. I was just pointing out a proper venue if I had nothing better to do than to waste my time badmouthing HN.

I will be quite disappointed to see more post from this poster.

Please just ban him and give us some relief.
It's not insane to suggest that the Rebels have the best defensive line in college football.
