Question on MLB draft

don't know too much about this, just wondering about the size of the money difference in the various rounds. also how many rounds are there? Thanks.

Here is a breakdown of signing bonus for the 2007 draft, pretty good money even for late rounders.

Interesting side note, there are some aberrations, the Yankees pick at #154, the Red Sox at #174,the Tigers at #181, and the Nationals at #190, to name a few. Wouldn't be surprised the common denominator is the baseball anti-christ Scott Boras. Just a guess, if it's not him he should at least get blamed for it.
