Better not watch Dallas tonight. They're looking VERY good so far. I'm not a fan 'm a Saints fan, go figure) but I have to say that if they can play with this intensity all season, they're gonna be tough to stop.Chucky_38 wrote:We're coming back. I stand by my comment from two years ago...We will win a 6th Super Bowl trophy before Dallas or the Steelers.

As soon as I said that, Tony Romo set out to singlehandedly prove me wrong with an INT and then a fumble in their own end-zone, recovered by Philly for 6...BeeDee wrote:Better not watch Dallas tonight. Until Romo and Dallas prove they can win a playoff game, the Giants are still the pick in the NFC. Eli looks more comfortable and sure of himself every week.
Don't you feel like, even after the G-men did the unthinkable, people still expected a losing season out of 'em this year.Rebchuck18 wrote:Until Romo and Dallas prove they can win a playoff game, the Giants are still the pick in the NFC. Eli looks more comfortable and sure of himself every week.
These guys seem like the real deal.
I think that the media doesn't even think they will make the playoffs. And I love it. This is Eli's team now...and don't look now, but Eli is the best Manning playing QB in the NFL and the G-men's offense can play with anyone. The key is applying pressure with their best rusher out, but so far the D looks okay. We will know more once they face Philly.dgmcdowe wrote:Don't you feel like, even after the G-men did the unthinkable, people still expected a losing season out of 'em this year.Rebchuck18 wrote:Until Romo and Dallas prove they can win a playoff game, the Giants are still the pick in the NFC. Dallas can beat them all they want in the regular season and it won't matter until Goober mean Romo) proves he can win a game that matters.

Hey, nothin' but love for Eli being an Ole Miss boy and all, but our man Peyton would still give him a run...if he were himself.Rebchuck18 wrote:I think that the media doesn't even think they will make the playoffs. Peyton is looking BAD this year. That injury hit him harder than anyone thought it would. He's just not himself at all. Good comeback win Sunday though.
GO REBELS!!!
Don't count out my Packers. Broke my heart last year when Eli and the Giants beat them, dang it. And personally, I don't give a rats behind about ole peyton. He's a vol so *beep* him.

Speaking of Lucas where is he now? I was just curious. That video was awesome though, every time I see him man I get chills. The man is truly an awesome athlete.badmotorfinger wrote:I wish they wouldn't have gotten rid of Ken Lucas.Hagar wrote:the only reason I can think of to like the Seahawks is because of Willie Green and Chris Spencer.badmotorfinger wrote:I'm happy for Patrick. “Winning is not a sometime thing, it's an all the time thing. You don't win once in a while, and you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.”
Lucas is in Carolina. He and Steve Smith got into it in the preseason. Smith punched Lucas in the eye and got suspended for a game or 2. Lucas missed a couple of practices.
