You've just got to learn from the wrong things you've done. I came off the rebound, started looking around, figured out it's time to have a little fun.

Not sure on the first ?
Jackson, Oxford, Tuscaloosa, B'ham, Columbus, Greenville, Montgomery.
Nutt calls the formation the Wild Rebel. Which sure beats the heck out of Orgeron's Wild Boys.

Add Mobile and New Orleans and I believe that would complete the list.parrotreb wrote:7 correct.Redbluedude wrote:parrotreb wrote:How many successful 2 point conversions did Alabama and Ole Miss have in the 1969 game?

Have no idea on the first question, I would assume more than two.

Yes, on the locations of games played between the two schools and, on the first question, . . . . . . . . .rewalters wrote:Add Mobile and New Orleans and I believe that would complete the list.parrotreb wrote:7 correct.Redbluedude wrote:

It took me a while but I was finally able to run it down, I knew from many Archie discussions with my Dad was a wee lad in '69) that Archie had 5 Touchdowns in that game, 2 passing and 3 rushing.parrotreb wrote: on the first question, . . . . . . . . .
So from that fact and taking each scenario, to include missed/made extra points, safeties, and missed/made two point conversions, I was able to deduce that Ole Miss had to have 0 or 1 conversions. The problem was on the Alabama side, I knew that Bama scored the last TD, but I didn’t know how many TDs were included in the previous 25-27 points. I had all but given up, luckily I was able to track down a rundown of the game and from there I got the answer.
Zero, nil, nary a one.
Ole Miss was 0-2 with a missed extra point and Bama was 0-2 also.
Thus there were 4 attempts with none being successful.
Thanks Parrot it was well worth the hunt.
