Ok, here you go. This guy's success is from Florida. If a recruit starts getting mixed up our coaches can say, "Yep, Florida is really good. We beat them."

Also, Florida's offensive scheme isn't much to get thrilled about. I know that statement puts me in a minority. But, what happens to Florida's "number 1 offense" if Tim Tebow gets hurt.....He is asking to be injured on every play when he "fullbacks" his way through the line. The amazing thing about Tebow is that he is still on the field. He's tough as nails. But, he can't throw a pass over 20-25 yards in the air. Did anybody see Florida's bowl game vs. Michigan last year? When it got down to the final minutes and Florida had to only pass due to the little time left...he couldn't. Tebow's balls took forever in the air to reach the receiver, and the defenders knocked them away. My point is that when Tebow has no choice but to pass....he can't. The receivers usually catch passes 5 - 15 (max) yards from the line of scrimmage and then use their speed to get big big gains...but Tebow looks like he's going to dislocate his arm when he attempts a truely deep pass. His effectiveness comes from the threat of his running; take that away (as Michigan did) and he's ineffective.

Tebow is a Very good "player", and is tough as nails...but he is no true quarterback...more like a glorified fullback.

So, the on the topic encouragement is that this guy will have to bring a totally different offense to state to have a true "passing" offense. If I were him, I'd be turning over every stone in the State to find a high school fullback who could pass in short-yardage plays. Then he'd only have to get the rest of the great supporting cast on the offensive line and speedy wide receivers he had at Florida....if he can attract all that to the plain city of starkville then we might need to worry......but those are some looong odds :D and what are the chances of him getting another Tim Tebow guy with durability.

Hope this helps you cheer up! :D

Agree. with this. They have absolute supreme athletes to run an offense based around speed and Tebow. Look at Alex Smith. he was a perfest fit as well for this offense Meyer runs. You have to have ridiculous speed compared to your opponent and a QB can be a legitimate dual threat. And when I say legitimate I mean he is more likely to pass than throw, but will have designed plays for a QB run. Not a run first QB (pat White) or a run every once in a while kinda guy.
