An Ole Miss Night Before Christmas
‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through Ole Miss
Not a creature was stirring, nothing was amiss
The bags were packed with great care
Knowing that Saint Nick had already been there
The students and fans were all snug in their beds
While visions of Winning danced in their heads
And Mama in Red and me in my Blue
Had just settled in after a night-cap of Brew
When out on the lawn I hear such a clatter
I jumped from the bed to see what was the matter
Ran to the window as fast as light
Parted the curtains ready for a fight
The full moon lit up the view
Noise like this was familiar but new
When, to my joyful eyes did appear
Trucks full of equipment and football gear
Directing traffic and shouting “Hut, Hut”
Was none other than The Coach, Houston Nutt
His team was gathered all beaming with pride
Coach called their names as they walked by his side
Go Dexter, Go Jevan, Go Michael Oher and all the rest
Yea Peria Jerry and Hardy too, all you rebels are the best
To the top of the Conference, we’re headed that way
The mighty Rebels are back, what a glorious day
As the team loaded the busses and drove out of town
The band in the Grove played that Dixie sound
And the Rebel Faithful again felt whole
Cause Ole Miss was going to kick ass in the Cotton Bowl
Merry Christmas to you all from Jimbo in Texas

too cool, I love this.
I believe that man will not merely endure: he will prevail. He is immortal, not because he alone among creatures has an inexhaustible voice, but because he has a soul, a spirit capable of compassion and sacrifice and endurance.

Yeah, that is a miracle!! Enjoy while it lasts.
Oh, believe me. We will enjoy it for the next several years. What did Nutt do at Arky? 7 or 8 bowls in 10 years? I fire him, too. Idiots.pitbull1 wrote:Yeah, that is a miracle!! Enjoy while it lasts.

As the author of this "parody", I can accept critics and appreciate accolades, but from a Bull Dog who's program is in the pits, I accept nothing and resent your comments. Moo U is a joke, and other than Jerry Clower, I don't know anyone or anything remarkable to ever come from Starkville.
Please ask someone to loan you a dictionary so you can look up the big words I used at the beginning of this comment.

Nutt calls the formation the Wild Rebel. Which sure beats the heck out of Orgeron's Wild Boys.
