That'd be 31 points to us. Next closest is 21 to LSU.

AND, with the exception of Miami (26) and OU (24), we held Florida to the fewest points in a game this season (30) tied with Tennessee.

With the exception of no one, we beat Florida. Id rather beat florida than hold them to the least points.

Somebody do a search, and see where everyone had us picked pre- season... I think I am somewhere in the 8-4 category... I saw practices before the season and predicted 8-4 and many on here thought I was crazy...you guys should really listen to me better than you do.

Most everyone else was saying 6-6 would have been a great year regardless of which bowl game we went to.
I said 7 maybe 8 wins. I did not think we would lose to Vandy.

of course there is also your track record with preseason predictions during the Orgeron tenure
Well it wasn't from lack of talent..who would have thought that O would have been outcoached on such a large scale. I could have done better.

You'll get no argument from me on that. But to beat them AND hold them to the 2nd fewest points all season is saying something, especially with their power on BOTH sides of the ball. I CANNOT FREAKING WAIT UNTIL SEPTEMBER! I have never been so excited about a Rebel football season. NEVER. Not even Eli's last season.

This is just un-be-freaking-lieveable...somebody with credibility actually picking us as a pre-season #6???? After literally DECADES of disrespect from most of the national sports media.

And has anybody heard that we are working with ESPN for a 12th game on national television...with a team like Colorado, Kansas State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Rutgers, Syracuse, or TCU???

This is all just too much for me to handle...is this all a dream???

I wouldn't ever go that far.
I believe that man will not merely endure: he will prevail. He is immortal, not because he alone among creatures has an inexhaustible voice, but because he has a soul, a spirit capable of compassion and sacrifice and endurance.

Best season "since the 60s" in 09? I kind of wish I hadn't seen that. I knew there was going to be some pre-season hype, but not this early.

Glad to see us crack the Top 15. I know I didn't see the year playing out like it did. Things just gelled together midway through the season and we were clicking on all cylinders the last 6 games.

I'm not sure about all the preseason hype for NEXT YEAR. Good grief, let's enjoy this year. Personally, I hope we're preseason ranked around the 15-18 range. I want our guys striving for that Top 10 and being 'hungry'. I don't want them reading their press clippings and being satisfied.

Let's Win the West in '09!!!
Nutt calls the formation the Wild Rebel. Which sure beats the heck out of Orgeron's Wild Boys.

Amazing how perception changes when you have a coach who has proven he can compete in the SEC.
