the next one.
you gotta agree with this line of thought....Ole Miss must consider each game at each week their biggest game and prepare for that game...and not looking past one opponent to another.

I'd say with all the preseason hype every single game this year ought to be difficult because everyone wants to knock the top dog off the top.
It's one thing to play as the underdog, it's a totally different ball game when everyone is gunning for you. And they will be...

South Carolina will be on the road on a Thursday night. Road teams very rarely win Thursday night games.

The south carolina game is the game that swings the season. Win it and the confidence level goes up. Lose it and we won't go to atlanta. We can probably win just one of bama/lsu and still go to atlanta but if we lose to so cal we may not win either of those games.

I think we're our own worst enemy next year. All of these other schools can and have lost to us. Games like Alabama, LSU, often fall to whoever doesn't shoot themselves first.

Well MP thats what I love about college football. The best team doesn't always win and the most insane things can happen to cause it. It's not a given we go to atlanta but I do believe it's a given that we will field as good a team as anybody on the schedule.

The toughest game on our schedule is a tough one to firgure for me. I would normaly say Bama...but this year feels different. I have to agree with the ones who think USC will be the toughest. If we win that one I concur that we will have a much better season. If we lose it...we won't go to Atlanta and will probably finish 7-5.
So I say USC.

Sc will be most nerve racking but not that tough. Garcia won't play well against this defense on Tv early in the year and OM running game won't be stopped. This could be a break out game for E. Davis. But expect to see some anxiousness and slop early out of the rebels.
Bama will be the toughest in regular season but I think it will be 23-14. Shene makes 5 fieldgoals and another huge special teams play somewhere decides field posisition.
Lsu will be tough b/c it's hard to imagine any coach beating Lsu 3 years in a row. But, when you consider Les Miles is their coach it's easy to imagine.
the toughest game in conference will be Florida in the SEC title game. Florida will be the favorite like the Pats were against Eli but in football things often don't go how we imagine. Ole Miss front 7 will be too much for Tebow and his offensive line.
But the toughest game game will be the national title game. I think it will come down to either Texas, SC, or someone from the big10. Southern Cal would be the toughest, then Texas. But, Nutt is one of the few coaches in history with a winning record against Texas and he's the only Sec coach with one.

we'll have a little difficulty with usc, nothing substantial.
LSU will be our toughest game. it will be for the west title. we'll win. but it will be close.
I wouldn't count bama out that quick.
