If he was on the bench purely for "defensive purposes" then why didn't CAK call a time out after Garland made the winning basket and get him back in the game to shoot his specialty, the hail Mary?
Regarding playing man to man with Henderson in the game, the reason for that is obvious, they knew that all they had to do was guard MH tight and he would probably throw up a bad shot.
We had a good season. Not great but almost

This is the third thread of yours that I've read. EVERY single one of them has this MH troll factor to it. Even this thread, started about AK and the outlook for next year was drug into a MH concern troll job. You need to go get some better trolling skills rookie.ColRebForever wrote:If he was on the bench purely for "defensive purposes" then why didn't CAK call a time out after Garland made the winning basket and get him back in the game to shoot his specialty, the hail Mary?

Forward Rebels!
I agree.bkrebel wrote:ColRebForever wrote:Don't discount the possibility we get a Hot Shot guard or forward who would like to play for CAK because he would like to have "the Greenest Green Light in Basketball History."
That's what I am hoping for because I just don't think we can depend on MH to be a team leader. This season we had a 4 man team with a wild card. That worked in some games and failed in others.
Not to be negative but I think Henderson is the only player who has the "greenest light".That won't be helpful for some recruits if they don't get a chance to put up those many shots as Henderson. What I don't understand is if there are better shooters on the team why don't they have the green light too?
The other players passed the ball to an open man. Even Henderson did that occassionally and when he did the Rebs were successful.55chevy wrote:Everybody has the same green light. They all throw it up there any time they want. Worst shot selection in college basketball for seven seasons.
I don't mind a player cranking up a few open 3s even when they miss, but MH took far too many bad shots.
