That's not good, but it was his first year in the SEC and he played almost the entire year with a bum shoulder needing surgery. Before we ascribe a dual personality to him, let's see if he improves. His second year, that 17 dropped to 10 even with no offseason due to his surgery. This year, he is at 8 and easily could match last year's but this year's interceptions are different. With one lone exception, they have come in non-conference games that Ole Miss won easily. When the games matter most, improved Bo protects the ball better than any other QB in the league. Rather than "good Bo"/"bad Bo", the discussion should be "young and injured Bo"/"experienced and healthy improved Bo". There isn't another QB in the country who, in his third year and protecting the ball better than anyone else in the toughest division of the toughest conference would still be ascribed a dual personality due to misthrows when he was young and injured.
I wasn't attempting to start a riot with the comment earlier

. Peyton Manning has bad games and had years where he throws more INT's than others. Just stating that Bo has made tremendous strides this year. But, unless someone else has taken over his body, than that same QB that started against Boise this year will be here in Fayetteville, AR on Saturday. Meaning, he's an amateur athlete that excusably/un-excusably had TO issues in the past.
I'll say this one last time. OM WILL WIN THIS GAME. BUT, if Ark wins (not likely, wouldn't bet my house on it nor am I saying this arrogantly. God knows we as Hog Fans have nothing to brag about in Football for 3 years) my belief it is a run away/everything goes right for the Hogs that day type of game. I commemorate Bo on his improvements I root for him each week. He's a terrific story.
The same qb that started against Boise will be playing, but he has matured and the coaches will not be using the same experimental game plan that they did against a non-conference foe. Hence, the most likely scenario is that in this Sec game Bo will perform like he did in every othe SEC game this year which doesn't make multiple interceptions very likely as he has been the best at avoiding interceptions in SEC games all year.

OK, let's get back on topic...
This game has scared me for quite a while. While I believe that the Rebels are the better team, there are a couple of factors that can turn this game in the Pigs favor. First, their running game can, in essence, keep the ball out of the hands of our offense. If you haven't noticed, our offense seems to get stale and lose their rhythm when they have extended stays on the sidelines. This, in my opinion, is what made LSU's defense appear better than they really are. Secondly...and I know we reacted well at A&M...is the crowd. We were fortunate to have a lot of things go well early at A&M, which somewhat put a damper on their crowd. We seriously need to strike quickly and early. If not, this game can really be in jeopardy. Hoping that we see some more 2 back sets (or slots in motion) to give us more than one option on the zone read. Heck, we've apparently got 4 solid running backs. If we strike early and avoid the 3 and out bug, I predict...

Unfortunately rain will be a factor. I expect the best running game wins. We definitely have the edge on passing.

Obviously when I predicted this, I felt like Auburn fans do right now... Like they can't beat anyone! Nearly 2 weeks later, I still think the above predicted score is possible... But NOT that we are broken. It's going to be a tough game, at a time when we really need to prove something to the playoff committee. Bama beat Arkansas in Fayetteville by a missed extra point, LSU got whipped, and that was in descent weather!
I don't know of this will happen, but this is what we need to happen:

Media has loved us all year long. They picked us to beat Tamu and UGA. They like Beliema a lot.

It is going to be just like the LSU game. They think they can win if they run it right at us. I think they could win but I've picked Ole Miss every game. If OM loses this game any possibility of playing for the SEC championship or a play off spot is gone. I don't think OM will let that happen to a one SEC win Arkansas team. I think we get a few big plays and a turnover or two and win. 20-13 OM

I don't think that it is going to be anything like the LSU game. I think that we will have enough offense this game to give our defense a little more rest.

I agree. I know it is going to be a tough game no doubt but Ole Miss will prevail!

While most of the talking heads and bloggers are picking the Hogs, at least one analyst described Ole Miss as the 'forgotten' team in the SEC West. Most of the talk has centered around Alabama and State winning the West and getting to the playoffs. When Ole Miss has been mentioned as a possibility to win out, while State and 'Bama lose the last weekend, the media has been quick to say that no one wants Ole Miss to win because if OM won the SEC, the league would be shut out of the playoffs. Nonsense. A two-loss SEC champion would easily be one of the Top Four teams in the country at season's end.
Re: the Arkansas game. The hype has built all week about Arkansas' win over LSU. That the Hogs will now get on a roll. But LSU was completely demoralized by the overtime loss to 'Bama. They knew they were out of the race to Atlanta and the playoffs. Ole Miss has plenty to play for, and some of the talking heads have said stupid things like 'Ole Miss would be looking ahead to State and that Arkansas would be a trap game.' What a crock!
Three weeks to prepare for the Hogs, knowing that if we win out, we will either go to Atlanta or one of the big Committee bowls. Laquon Treadwell did not play defense, and we can still shut people down. I trust our coaches to devise a scheme based on what happened to us against LSU. We also have other receivers to take up the slack. We are favored for a reason. We are the better team, and we have two huge games left regular season to show that we can finish strong and still be in the running for everything.

Here and accounted for! ha
I think the Hogs for the first time in 3 years, have a belief they can beat good teams. LSU wasn't good last week and were better when they played OM last month. I've got two scenarios for this game.
1) OM wins in a close one. 24-21. Slugfest of a game that comes down to a late FG.
2) Hogs win in a route 42-10. Think the crowd is going to be at a fever pitch, hogs defense is playing well and Bo Wallace still has "Bad Bo" in him.
I'm torn right now as to how this game will go. My head says OM 24-21. We beat a mediocre LSU team last week and that has to be put into perspective.[/quote]
Spud you win in the call of the route... D is solid, but outside of that we have been fools gold in a lot of ways.. I have said for a while, this O line is really bad...
