However, I personally never underestimated this Rebel team, I knew they were something to look out for.

That was one hell of a performance y'all showed there and a much deserved win. The taunting at the end and the shark fin crap was kind of unnecessary but I'd probably expect tech to do the same in that situation.

Congratulations on one hell of a performance.
You all have a truly special team and a truly special Coach, I'm just sorry that tech had to fizz out like that, oh well there's always next year

Enjoy your win and tear up the sec next year, I'll be watching to see what they do :)
Loved what I saw was from some Tech O linemen who got their sack handed to them.

Tech has a good team but it was physically overrun today.
You've just got to learn from the wrong things you've done. I came off the rebound, started looking around, figured out it's time to have a little fun.

I saw our guys jawing at them at the end their. I wouldn't bet against the Tech doing a little of the same thing.

The taunting was unnecessary, but the shark fin is something that started around the time our season turned around. I honestly don't think it was meant to taunt. Just something our players grabbed onto in a practice and it took off.

Texas Tech probably deserved a better bowl (possibly a BCS bowl) based on their record. I'm glad we got to play the Red Raiders and feel fortunate to escape with a win.
Yeah, like i said, tech would probably do the same thing, not really mad about the taunting. And I was happy to see Mankind, as we call him, go up to Coach Nutt and shake his hand and probably appologize for what he did.

And about a better bowl this is what i was hoping it wouldn't be: a Cal repeat. Tech picked a terrible year to be good with OU and UT having some of their best teams in the last ten years. And honestly they're both better than tech. Tech is an underling to both schools and for us to have a shot like that was something really special. Like I said earlier, a very bitter end to what was supposed to be a glorious season. But I'm glad we lost to a stand up team that really deserved a bowl win.

if someone can post a link to a video from the end of the game I would love it, I forgot to DVR the progam after the game. Still had 4 min left and the dvr cut off
In Round 1 of the SEC vs. the Big 12, now known nationally as the Flag Football League, Texas Tech did nothing against Ole Miss to dispel the national perception that Big 12 teams couldn't stop their mail, much less an ambulatory offense.

Great game. I know im a little late, but I celebrated pretty good last night. I had texts and calls everywhere from people saying, d***, yall are pretty good.(Except for my UNC buddy who still thinks UNC could beat us. Hes not very smart). Great game for many guys, including the entire DL - Peria was killing it all day. Hardy was around a little, but I was really impressed with Kentrell Locket. Im no longer worried about Mike Wallace, Mike Oher, Peria Jerry and Jamarca Sanford leaving. Markeith Summers looked good and looks to have ridiculous talent. John Jerry is the exact opposite of Big Mike - tremendous run blocker but not as good in pass protection. Peria Jerry, we will not replace him, but we have guys that can really get after it with Ted laurent and possibly Powe. I am slowly falling in love with Ted L. Jamarca you are always overlooked no matter what, but he will be missed, but I think Johnny Brown can be a star. He has taken a step backward after last year, but he just didnt see the field as much - although he played a bit yesterday. As much as this was exciting this year, next year will be good. If we get Pat Patterson - stud made amazing TD catch today in AA game - he iwll see the field along with Andrew harris and Lionel Breaux, but our WR corps is still as good as it gets. I feel great about the future.
