Now I really, really, REALLY badly want this series win. Just looked at the rest of the schedule and it's down right terrifying! We have to play UGA and UK on the road. Those are almost certainly series losses given how they've played as of late (still, anything can happen, but I don't expect us to win those). We have Arkansas and Auburn at home. Both of them are dang good ball clubs as well. Would not be surprised if the Rebels have the toughest schedule left of all the SEC teams. I think we take Arkansas at home. Auburn at home will be an all out WAR. Like I said, I don't expect series wins against UGA or UK, but I don't expect us to be swept by anyone. We should go into the SEC Tourney in good shape for hosting a regional.

Very good win. Pomeranz continues to impress. Getting some timely hits and getting up early helps. We seem to be the ones that are usually down early. Good to put a little pressure on them.

Hope we do the same today.

Am I crazy or did we play South Carolina at Columbia last year? Sometimes the years start to run together for we older fans. Seems like I remember Bukvich pitching a hell of a ball game there. :?

It was here. The Sunday game was incredibly windy and both teams gave up homer after homer. But boy what a fun weekend at Swayze on Friday and Saturday last year!
