UGA game at SEC tourney

Listened to Rebel Hotline today, and picked up some interesting info about our game today. During the last two years, the #8 team has beaten the #1 team both years to start the SEC tourney. Further, UGA has chosen to save their ace pitcher for the second game and is starting their least experienced pitcher who has a record of 2-1 and an era of around 4.61 (if I heard correctly). IS THAT A GOOD OMEN FOR TONIGHT'S GAME??????
By the way, for you football fans, Billy Brewer was also on the program and said that he had never met Coach Nutt before he came to Ole Miss. He did say that he has now met with him several times and is very, very impressed. He says Coach Nutt has a great work ethic, is very personable, will genuinely inspire our players to do their best and in the final analysis believes that Ole Miss is coming into an era when football is going to be great at Ole Miss once again. ANOTHER GOOD OMEN I AM HOPING.
One other comment about the game tonight

from Rebel Hotline. We did face this pitcher UGA is starting against us during the regular season, and we hit him very well. Another good omen for today's game.

Scott Bittle in relief of Lance Lynn, and both pitchers did a great job. We play the winner of the Bama UK game at 8 pm tomorrow night. Their game is next tonight, and I hope they go into extra innings and play until 4 a.m. Great job Rebels!!!!!

I have my final for May Session class on Friday and we probably will not start playing until 10 tomorrow night...that's annoying.

We needed this, and hopefully the "need to pick up this season" rally will continue!
GO REBS!!

Bianco said Pom or Satterwhite will start tomorrow. Who do you want? I think we should throw Satterwhite. Pom was roughed up by Kentucky in his last start against them and Cody has the experience. Also, I'd rather see Drew out there in an elimination game instead of Cody.

Stayed up till about 1:45 and STILL didn't get to finish the UK-Bama game, but UK was up 9-3 when I went to sleep. Looked just now and that was the final, so we get Kentucky tonight. They are so dadgum tough, but we beat Georgia. Time to get after the Bat Cats!
