If y'all are as desperate as I am, you'll be happy to know that both Lindy's and Athlon preseason mags are out. I usually like Athlon, but I think they gave us a raw deal this year. They do talk about Powe some, whom they say should be good to go.

I usually don't read these mags until I'm sitting on the porch at the Neshoba County Fair. We seemed to be picked 4, 5, or 6th every year. It's almost a rehash each year. The only thing is that the articles are written in Feb or March and a lot of things can happen from that time until the real season starts. They seem to come out earlier and earlier and the info is outdated. Of course, I'll look at them and read some of them, but won't put a lot of stock in them.
