Here's a bully for Ol' Mizzou!

May the winner beat the Canes with no mercy!

Amen to that!!

Should be a good pitching match-up today. Guess we will see who brought the bats and who left them at home.

We're partial to those nice infield "hits" and lazy flys...

It was for your guys. Hit the ball well and hard. We could not hit Crow and when we did, many times it was right to someone. Good luck in the next game. We may win 1, but it's not looking good.

Best guess is that we will play Bethune Cookman in the losers bracket; however, right now, in the bottom of the 6th with Miami batting there is a 4-4 tie. Bethune is ranked #157 based on RPI. (1) If we do play Bethune in the loser's bracket, we should be favored to win if for no other reason than our higher RPI. (2) If Missouri plays Miami, the home team and #1 in the nation should be favored. (3) So, a re-match for us with Missouri seems like a good guess at this point. We should have as good a shot as they do in that one, so we just may return to that SEC tourney early game form and do just that. (4) If we make it to the championship game, then I'd say Ole Miss has a lot of incentive to win, especially given the last few years of almost making it to Omaha.

Of course, we could fall along the way, but don't give up yet. We may shock somie people before this Regional is over yet.

By the way, some scores from other games:

LSU 12, Texas Southern 1
South Carolina 15 Charlotte 8
Tulane 7 Florida 4
Lipscomb 10 Georgia 7
Pepperdine 4 Arkansas 2 (top of 7th)
Vandy 2 Oklahoma 3 (top of 5th)

will play in the losers bracket at noon Eastern Time I believe. Miami did defeat Bethune 7-4. The winner of tomorrow's game with Bethune will play the loser of the Miami-Missouri game at noon Sunday. And the same day at 4, the winner of the noon game must face the winner of Miami-Missouri tomorrow who will be fresh not having to play in the noon game. If Ole Miss should win every game thru that second game Sunday, then we will play the loser of the 4 pm game on Sunday at 7 pm Monday night. Tough road for the Rebels to travel, but it is not impossible.

Also, Arkansas lost 4-3 to Pepperdine and Vandy lost to Oklahoma 8-5. Alabama leads East Carolina 11-2 in the 5th and Kentucky is trailing 5-1 in the 5th.
