pointspread.com has Florida -23.5

But, they also have Michigan -7 over Wisconsin, West Virginia -15.5 over Marshall, Wazzou -19.5 over Oregon.

It doesn't look like the handicappers have been watching all of the football thus far. While I don't see how we win this game, we will not lose by 24 pts. Our DL and LBs actually gives us a chance in this game. Tennessee looked terrible, but actually moved the ball decently. The current rave is Florida's defense, "look what they did to Tennessee". Well look what UCLA's defense did to Tennessee, then got 59 pts. hung on them by BYU. Florida has only faced Hawaii, Miami, and Tenn - none look to be good offenses this year.

Florida is putting up 330 yds. and allowing 213.

We are putting up 400 yds. and allowing 300.

Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. We have them, Florida doesn't. That is the key.

It has since gone up. Lines do that u know. Funny when I post an opening line on some boards, then people will argue saying I was wrong on the line. Attention.........lines move. LSU line has gone up 2 1/2 points since yesterday.

If we pull that same cr*p this Saturday as we did last, I'm going to fly on up to Oxford and stick my foot up someone's backside. The turnovers GOT to stop. No two ways about that.

I have a feeling emphasis might be placed on ball security this week....

That's what actually scares me a bit. Nothing causes fumbles like the actual thought of fumbling. You start worrying so much about it that it becomes a reality. Hopefully that won't be the case, but suddenly I just don't have a good feeling about our offense. Too many dejavu's this past Saturday night.

Having played a little bit at Fullback in junior high (we actually RAN the fullback a good bit), I can tell you that's the case. I had a bad problem with holding on to the ball and the more the coaches yelled, the worse I got. They got in my head. I finally told them to leave me alone about it or I was gonna stop running the ball at all. Once they backed off, things got better. It was a big relief to gain some extra size and move up to the OL, much less pressure.

Why do I have a visual of the entire team sleeping with/eating with and carrying a football to class? Might not be a bad idea.

Marshay and McClusters fumbles are both correctable, they were both trying to make a play and had air between the ball and their bodies... I really feel bad for McCluster because he was trying to spin to get into the end zone. I think he normally would have gone down when he felt the contact but credit the Vandy defender he ripped him... I am much more concerned about Snead throwing picks...

My coach used to make anyone who fumbled in a game carry a football for one week everywhere they went... if anyone on campus saw that player without a football in his hands that entire week, anytime, then the player was made to run 100 Jacobs ladders...no joke.

It was kind of funny to see all those players at Sunday School, and the grocery store and places like that around town all week. All with Footballs tucked under their arms and stacked on top of their books and such.

Ours did a similar thing. Coach made the offensive players who fumbled carry the ball around during school hours only. But during school, the defensive players had free reign to try and dislodge it from the fumbler. If you "caused a fumble" during school that was verified by witnesses you got to do one less lap, and the fumbler did TWO more, since it was more important NOT to fumble than to CAUSE a fumble.

Those sneak attacks got pretty creative, and the fumblers got very keen on squeezing the loaf, I can assure you.
