I simulated the Cotton Bowl at the WhatIfSports website and we won on a last second 53 yard field goal by Joshua Shene. Check out the box score:

Jevan Snead was 14 of 20 for 189 yards and 2 TDs.

That's pretty cool, I certainly hope it turns out this way.

I like the idea for sure, but I doubt very much that TT will miss two extra point tries.

Isn't the kicker Matt Williams, the walk on that kicked in some sort of contest and was then picked up by Leach? I don't think he has missed an extra point since being signed.

That really is a kinda cool site, but I just tried it and we lost 51-43. :x

If that were to happen, then Joshua Shene would have earned every single dime of his scholarship with one kick.

I just did 5 more simulations with these settings:

Ole Miss offense: Balanced
TX Tech: Heavy Pass
Neutral Field
Light Wind
55 Degrees
Precipitation: None

Results:
UM 55 Tech 49
Tech 41 UM 27
Tech 35 UM 21
Tech 55 UM 32
UM 55 Tech 51

Looks like we'll have to win in a shootout.

God, I know that I will have driven 8 hours to see my first rebel bowl, but I really hope it rains.
