...on how the Cotton Bowl may bode for OU.

"Texas Tech is pretty fast and physical," Oher said, grudgingly, "but they don't match up to what we play every week in the SEC."

Yeah, I expect stuff like that from that performance, sigh.
OU's gonna get smashed but I'm fairly confidant in UT.
Crabtree honestly should have been out of the game after he realized he still isn't well. He really is an amazing player and I really hope people don't look at that game and think that's the real Crabtree, or the real tech for that matter. When the spead doesn't click it makes a really long day for the offence. And as for our defence, not only are they really not good at all save maybe a few players, but they played terrible, even for them.
It really hurts seeing things written about your team like that when I can look back just a few months at myself dreaming on being on a BCS stage ya know? And he's completly right, no matter how you play your season it's how you finish it, and Tech sure didn't do a good job of that haha.
Hats off to Ole' Miss. Bravo.

I know nothing can be said to ease the sting of how the Red Raiders' season ended, but for what its worth I was impressed with Texas Tech all year long and I still think they are one of the elite teams in the Big 12 and the nation. Not many programs have won as many games as you guys have in the last decade.
And its really nice to have positive feedback from a fan of another school. You're welcome around here anytime.

The game was all about line play. OM's DL physically beat up Tech's consistently and badly. Add OM's blitz package to Tech's flooding the field with receivers and Tech's OL was overmatched and whipped.
I am really surprised that Leach didn't go with more short passes, short outs to the flat and slants drags, our weaknesses, to negate the pass rush. Seems as if Tech wanted to make a point that it wasn't a finesse team and got away from what it does as well as anyone in the country and, in the process, got physically beaten up front.
Tech had a helluva run this year. They played as well as a team can play against Ok State. But yesterday, the better team won.

yup, I agree. I was just talkin to my dad last night about how it looked like they got away from what they did best. And it was a line game, tech's o line is pretty good and its d line aint bad but its just not sec haha.
I agree, Ole' miss played like champs and tech played like flailing babies. -.-

yeah, def. not. And i would say next year, but OU, OSU, and UT are all basically gonna be the same teams next year only better with the exception of maybe bradford getting drafted, and that was a huge senior team tech had.
And thanks for the kind words, they do help.
