There are some sorority powder-puff teams with a tougher non-conference slate than the Rebels: Memphis, USL, UAB and Northern Arizona.

Does he not realize "powder puff" teams come from "powder puff" conferences. They have to play a tough non-conference -- they play a "powder puff" conference schedule!

WOW! I'm in the process of emailing this clown right now to ask why he thinks all of these ridiculous claims are true. Yes the schedule is easy but we still play in the sec and that fact alone will have us playing numerous top ten teams this season. I'm going to try to be decent with this email but its going to be hard. I'll post his response later so we can all be critical of it. This guys just a hater and the fact that he said magic doesn't happen in cfb anymore is laughable. magic happens every year. In fact magic happened to us last year. Any team that goes from 3 to 9 wins in one year has to go down as historical. This guy will be one of many to see how wrong he it about us. Furthermore this guy said that uga choked last year! If i'm not mistaken uga won 10 games! They won 10 games with a beat up o line and numerous injuries on defense! I tell ya what, if we win 9 or 10 games this year I will be extremely pleased and the rest of you should be to. 9 or 10 wins would be a success. Heck, that will probably be good enough to go to atlanta because bama and lsu will both have 3 or 4 losses. This guys just a idiot. Excuse me while I email him and tell him that.

Sarcasm aside, most of the Finebaum's points are valid and accurate. He is always over the top and heavy handed. Read it without taking it personally and you'll see his points.

I'm sorry but I cannot and will not accept this fools statement with any truth in it. He claims theres no magic left in cfb, well, us rebel fans know thats false because last year was all magic for us. Furthermore he claims that black athletes won't come and play here. What a idiot. 97 percent of our football team is black and there dang good athletes!This guy is just one of the olemiss haters. Heck he's probably a lsu fan.

I agree except for him being a lsu fan. I also agree that some of his points are valid but all I can see, all sacasm aside, is just another arrogant bammer fan. I get so sick of hearing about the "12 championships".

That's what maggots and bamma fans have in common.....they've both been living off of a dead bear for 20 years.

Let me help you out...You are reacting exactly the way he wants to you react. The whole Pavlov's dog thing. He is not a fan of anyone, but himself. He takes fair shots at every SEC school except for Kentucky and Vandy, that's because there is rarely anyone from those schools who read his articles. Go find the article he wrote about visiting Bear Bryant's grave and talking to his ghost.

Don't you think he can look through the face masks and see what color their skin is, he is pulling your collective chains. He writes to upset those fans who their entire existence is tied to a given school just to see how riled up he get you. When the fans realize that players play, fans watch and writers write. Then and only then will such silly talk will roll off your back and see it for what it's worth, nothing.
