Sounds good, so stay tuned for more of this kind of talk if the season proceeds according to plan. You know, bowling in the stadium is specifically mentioned. Can you imagine how much louder an Ole Miss game would be with the noise trapped by the enclosure----vibrating around the bowl. WOW, what a game changer that might become.

I would guesstimate an additional 5000 seats' roughly half of what the SEZ bumped capacity.NOLA_Reb wrote:How many seats do ya'll think that would add?

Actually I think if we bowled the stadium in it would probably add close to 10,000 seats cause with the bowled in stadium they would also probably add more luxury type seats and I think when we added the one bowled in section a few years back it automatically added like 7 or 8 thousand. This would be great for the university because it would bring our capacity up to like 72,000 and make the noise factor huge.
I'd just settle for filling in the other end zone.

Great call, Dave, that is precisely what should be done.

This would be a great addition for our university!!!! However, everyone in their seat must willing to be making some noise.....I have yelled at folks in my section to get up and get fired up!!!!! and they have simply ignored me......I hope this does not happen this year. We must be participants this year and not just spectators....

How does that figure to 10k more seats. expansion in the NEZ is unfortunately limited by the HD board (it is not as easily movable as many like to think), so the addition would not be as large as the SEZ, which as you noted added 8K new seats, so 5k is a much more likely number.jrebel87 wrote:Actually I think if we bowled the stadium in it would probably add close to 10,000 seats cause with the bowled in stadium they would also probably add more luxury type seats and I think when we added the one bowled in section a few years back it automatically added like 7 or 8 thousand.
