Proves the bookies aren't that stupid. They know a lously team when they see one. Other early SEC lines.
Ga. 7 1/2 @ home over S. Car., Tn. 6 1/2 @ home over UCLA, LSU 15 1/2 @ home over vandy, bama 36 @ home over Fla. Int., Fla. 34 1/2 @ home over Troy.
awbarn is an early 12 1/2 point favorite over msu

I rarely root against the SEC (excluding MSU), but I would like to see Kiffin's team get stomped by UCLA and pretty much anyone they play, this season.
Guess it would be OK if they have a decent season; since it'll look better if we beat em.

Personally I am suprised that lsu is favored by 15 over a decent vanderbilt team! Lsu showed in that game against washington that they still have some issues on defense and their offense was far from the juggarnaut les miles had promised. I know it was just the first game and by most standards almost every team struggled in some way against their first opponent but i see this vanderbilt game as a knock down drag out for lsu. Vandy is always good early in the season so I expect this one to be close.
I actually want Tennessee to beat UCLA because it will help our BCS chances since they are on our schedule....then I want the SEC to absolutely unload on them!
I have a small inkling that Memphis may be a little better than we may think when it is all said and done..they have good RB's and lots of size..QB play will be the key for themrebeljim wrote:tiger high 1 point underdog @ Middle Tn. St.

BTW nice game this weekend...I thought Springfield High might test you guys..
And BTW the University of Arkansas only has 3 victories against Tennessee in the history of the school and Houston Nutt has two of those wins. It would appear that the lack of success is an institutional deficiency as opposed to a particular coach's....
