More rebel hopes and dreams smashed......again

This was one of the first games I've seen that made it clear our guys were not ready for conferece play. Theres numerous people to blame for this so i'll start with whoever made the schedule. Those pansies we played hurt us and didn't help us get ready for sc. Nevertheless thats no excuse for the bad offensive play from the very same offense that blasted the sec away last year. There is something wrong with Snead and even though I love him to death if he's done and can't get over this mental block he has then we need to put stanley in there. Theres no way stanley can do worse then snead is right now. Hes inaccurate, inconsistent, and over throws every time a wr is open. Next I want to ask why the hell have we not kept dexter in at rb all season? The dang evidence from him being at rb last year is obvious! From now on he stays at rb. Its a little to late for that now, we will drop out of top 15 and the only way to get back in is beat vandy then (laugh) beat bama. If we play like we did tonight against vandy or bama we will get beat. I guess thats what we get for actually being dumb and believing that our fortunes will change. Yeah we always beat a florida or a lsu but we don't win when it matters most and i'll take that over a win against lsu anyday.

You play the schedule you have been given, thats an excuse and a crock of *beep*.. We played like *beep*, dont blame the schedule on our overall futility. Dexter cant play running back because he weighs 165 pounds soaken wet.. He has been injury prone and that would be a guarantee to end his season early.. I would have been welcome to the idea of seeing stanley one series to let snead calm himself after hanging himself all night.. Snead is not and will never be Eli Manning we hoped he would but just not gonna happen.

THIS is the definition of being an Ole Miss fan. I want to know if Nutt or Austin was calling the plays tonight?

We got out coached!!! They did not run the ball when they needed to. We were pusing them around in the 4th and with 4th and 1 foot we punted it away with ALL the momentum.
We played bad I dont disagree, but we got outcoached, and thats really sad. This staff made what seemed to be all the right calls last year. The season is not over by a long shot. Lets regroup and kick Vandy in the ass!

The 4th and 1 was a good shot at a chance to win. But was a lot of time left. The punt wasn't a bad call. We pinned them back deep. They got a crap punt off with a 20 yard roll. We had 61 yards to win the game. We just blew the chance the defense gave up.
How Snead gets sacked from 2 and 3 man rushes twice in the game. Is just beyond me.

Thought it was a hard fought game. I think the player's OM lost from last season haven't been fully replaced yet. The first 3 quarters of offense we simply not good. No Mccluster, no rhythm and no offensive line play.
Defensively OM missed a lot of tackles. Something I thought going into the game OM was very good at.
Snead looks like he's got the entire world on his shoulders. And unfortunately, it's affecting his technique. He is not technically sound right now and that offense can't do what it wants to do with him like this.
OM still has a lot to play for but, they could definitely go the opposite direction as well if the leaders don't step up. Interesting to see how the team handle's this disappointment. I expect them to beat Vandy pretty well and give Bama a decent game.
There is still enough talent on OM to carry them for a while. But, they have gel together and have Snead (aka the straw that stirs the drink) to get in the groove.

Aaaahhh, you know I never thought we would win it all, maybe this can serve as a wake up call, and we can string together some wins.

Look, DO NOT start this bashing Snead and fire Nutt crap. He had a bad game, it's early and we can and will recover.....Tired of all the fickleness of "fans".

I can't make an argument against any of this... I agree.

I felt sick last night and feel sick today. Just a very low point...hard day to be an Ole Miss fan.
But, all we can do it pick it up and prepare for Vandy.
The play calling was horrible IMHO...and it took 4 quarters to figure out that we have this player called Dexter McCluster that...why, yes...yes, he can....make a difference in a game. Too late, tho.
