I dont agree with lsu being 4.. State turned it over a million times and still almost beat em.

I'm happy with #21. Just beat Vandy.
As for LSU, them being 4 is no different than us being 4. They'll play a tough opponent at some point and when they do we'll see what they're made of.

Foward Rebels! March to Fame!
I believe we are right where we need to be now. Nowhere to go but up from here.

I agree. Markuson has the reputation for being able to mold NFL quality offensive linemen out of players, so I believe he will know what to do to make the changes that will be most effective. The film he reviews after this past Thursday will tell him a lot.
As for the future, let's just continue to take one game at a time, but I truly believe we still can have a good year because of the talent we have. Even last Thursday, our defense was very good and Dexter was miraculous in running that ball. So, one game at a time and GO REBELS!!!!!

only bad part is. I think LSU has more of an ability to pull out a close game. Than Ole Miss does right now.Chucky_38 wrote:I'm happy with #21. Just beat Vandy.

Well, the way the D played, we deserve to be a top 10 team. However, the offense, which was supposed to be great, is playing like number 50 right now. Hopefully they can get on the same page before Vandy, or they will beat us for a 3rd year in a row.....and their players will get better jobs than the Ole Miss players who don't make it to the NFL.
This happened to us in 07'. We were ranked 15th, went to Bama and lost on a last second play. Dropped us out of the rankings completely. When teams who aren't consistently ranked highly lose in sept, they drop them like fly's.guitarguy wrote:that sure is a long fall for one close loss to an SEC team
But, early season losses are tough. With not much information out there on a lot of teams, they seem to move up and down very quickly until mid october or so.
You also have to look at the loss. SC doesn't have a significant win yet (other than the OM), OM hadn't played anyone of value yet and for 3 qrtr's of the game OM's offense wasn't sharp. All in all, I can see why they dropped so far. But, I think they rise just as quickly with a win this week and next.
