why have we not used our TE at all this year? i remember the one catch for a td against SELA but not once vs SC. i understand that the TE was probably blocking his butt off, but i seem to remember using TE plays alot last year. Also i think that Sneed needs to worry more about the short ball than the long ball. Short out routes, curls, and crosses, then the long ball will come. Just my opinion.

What play from the SELA game are you referencing, b/c no TE on the roster has a TD catch this season. The FB (Hartmann) has.

As for last season, the TE was not a big part of our offense from a production viewpoint (8 total catches from the position). Though it was effective when used (5 TDs, though 3 came in the last 2 games), Harris, Traxler, and Sowell were primarily blockers.

As for Thursday night, Allen did have a catch, but it was for a minimum gain, though I believe it was a converted first down.

Right now, the disjointed nature of the OLine as well as Snead's struggles with pressure, whether real or imagined, are keeping us from utilizing all the tools at the O's disposal.

Where's the TE

Nutt likes to keep the TE's in for blocking. Will throw to them around the goal line but that's about it. Lot of times he will take back up tackles and use them for TE's.
