I think it goes way beyond X's and O's. Last year the team looked like they were having so much fun together, they were SO happy. This year it's not like that. It appears there is ALOT of friction. I hope they can get it fixed. Just wanted to see what you guys thought, I could be dead wrong.
Hotty Toddy!
what is wrong with our team?

Expectations will do that as will playing not to lose rather than playing to win.

You make a great point. I have never thought about it like that.ReservoirReb wrote:Expectations will do that as will playing not to lose rather than playing to win.
Protection has not been stellar but it has not been particularly bad either. How we gave up three sacks to Auburn I do not know. We just weren't ready for that game. In the previous three games, however, including against the top pressure team in the nation, we only gave up one sack to vandy (0 to Alabama and 0 to Arkansas who sacked tebow 6 times). Protection is better than people like to admit, though it could use work. We lose a more on the line this year than we did last including a very good experienced center.TN_Hog wrote:How about no Michael Oher? And Sowell replacement.
Protection for Snead is not good and Snead obviously needs good protection to play well.
That's pretty much it in a nutshell.
Exactly why we need a starting QB who plays consistent even when there is pressure. Jevan cracks under pressure and had never led us back into a game.TN_Hog wrote:How about no Michael Oher? And Sowell replacement.
