He will not be able to use another coaches talent to make himself look good. Snead will continue to go backwards under his idiotic coaching. I doubt very seriously if Ole Miss will post a record at or above .500 next year. Your football team had BCS talent this year and he only took you to the Cotton Bowl to pull out a win over a very average OK St team. This time next year all the Rebel fans will understand why he was run out of Fayetteville. He is an egomaniac and he would rather go 6-6 with him calling the plays and doing it his way than to get 10+ wins by letting someone who is more creative and smarter than he is do the playcalling. I really feel for you guys in the near future because it is just a short time until you start dealing with all the drama that comes with having Nutt as your coach. He couldn't have walked into a better situation last year and since he won you 2 Cotton Bowls and the Rebel-nation was so desperate for something positive to happen he has pulled the wool over your eyes.
Next year in Fayetteville your football team will get ran out of the stadium and he will start blaming the players and not take any blame himself. He is a master of taking all the glory and pointing fingers when things don't go right. All the good recruits in Mississippi will end up in Starkville very soon and the downward spiral will have begun.
I will not be surprised if he starts making himself "available" for another position where he can use another coaches talent to make himself look good. Keep your eyes open and your minds smart.
I am not posting this to be negative towards Ole Miss because you have a great tradition and a beautiful campus. Oxford is a great city and you all are great fans. But.......I am surprised that more of you do not see this man for what he really is.....a used car salesman who is a good "RA RA" guy but a bad coach and organizer.
Good luck in 2010, but I wouldn't count on it with Nutt being in charge when things start to go bad.

Wow. Thanks again for that insight Pig fan. Course, we have heard it for over two years now. Personally, my favorite part is "next year you will get run out of Razorback Stadium." Yeah, we heard that from the day Nutt was hired till the day his team beat yours in Razorback Stadium. Then the day after that we heard about how the Razorbacks will "run up the score on Nutt in Oxford" until the day we whipped Arkansas. Now I suppose we will hear this crap until the Ole Miss/Arkansas game comes round again. Keep posting it Piggie, one day your beloved Razorbacks may actually beat Ole Miss again. Maybe.
By the way, congrats on that breathtaking overtime win against East Carolina University. Man that CUSA puts out some tough teams don't they? Good thing the savior of Razorback football was calling the plays and running the show. I bet next year he wins 8 games in the regular season like Nutt did in his final year. If he can keep Mallet in town of course.

We will win more than 8 my friend........no way to get into the SEC Championship game with 8 wins from what the past shows.
Just read the post for what it is worth......facts are facts and it was not meant to show up any Rebel fans. Just some insight for what your future holds now that Big Eds talents is dwindling down.

Look Here, stop the BS. Show some class. Go to one of our sites and enjoy the Hogs. Ole Miss just beat OSU in the Cotton Bowl, congrats to their kids and fans. Yes, I too hate Nutt, but the University of MS is a great institution, and has some d*** fine people there. We can start up the fun again when we play Ole Miss next year till then, we need to worry about why it took a field goal in OT to beat a Conference USA team, after their kicker missed three. Congrats Rebs, and the SEC for beating OSU and the Lil 12.

"Wait till next year": the mantra of Pig fans. Heard the same thing last year.
And I predict your "fun" here will be short lived.
30-17, 0-2, moron.

Take your own advice and read some facts. Take a look at the winners of the SEC since 92 and tell me what they all have in common. I'll save ya some research: They play defense. They run the ball. They are not named Arkansas. Nutt's recruiting has been better than "Big Ed's." Surely you must know this since I'm sure you check the rankings everyday. Might want to worry about Petrino's class.
Arkansas win an SEC Championship? If Nutt couldn't do it...I doubt anyone not named Saban or Meyer can.

How bout some "insight" into YOUR future.
Mallet leaves early for the draft. You finish last in the SEC in recruiting (seriously....you'll finish last), your defense gives up an average 50 points/game, you might make it to the liberty bowl again next year only to lose to a CUSA team. Petrino leaves late in the middle of the night to take a coordinator job somewhere after a frustrating season because he's a coward.....maybe FL
How's that for insight?

To the Rebel Faithful, please don't judge all of us by a senseless post as the one that started this thread. Some of us just like to come over and talk a little football or just mingle with our SEC brethren. As to Hog fans who like to try to "stir the pot", what is the point other than to show how much class you don't have. Nutt is not our problem or our coach. Whether we liked him or disliked him doesn't matter anymore. Let him coach Ole Miss and let Petrino Coach Arkansas and when the two teams meet let the game be decided on the field. I'm very happy we have Petrino and I am sure the Reb's are just as happy to have Nutt.
One more note, the odds should be in our favor to win next season but if the same team that played ECU shows up when we play Ole Miss we might get it handed to us for a third straight year. Remember how we were going to beat Ole Miss this year after we played Florida and should have won. Ole Miss took us to the cleaners and it was the worse game we had all year up until the Liberty Bowl. Arkansas posters need to come over here and try talking to the Rebs as fans. Try talking football and how recruits are doing, talk schedules, talk coaching but don't come over here talking trash when the game is next season. You don't gain any credibility for Arkansas and no Reb fans want to have to read your nonsense. The Rebel fans on this board are pretty classy, quit trying to bring them down to your level.

We don't judge. we enjoy posts from fans of any school. We just get tired of the stench that comes from posts like the one above telling us that Ole Miss football is going into the dirt because of who we have coaching. It gets pretty old after two years. I talk to fans of other schools that read the posts here and they're amazed at the obsession that many of the arky fans have with coach Nutt.
I agree about the odds being in your favor next year though, after all it will be a road game for us. Maybe if Arky wins, some of these classless a$$holes will get some closure and leave us alone

My sentiments exactly. After two years now, don't SOME of these cats realize that we don't care.
To the classy hog fans that have come over for real football conversation lately....stick around; you're welcome.
