heard Stanley stepped it up and WR showed out..any eyes to confirm?

ETA:
* Ole Miss went through the second of 15 spring football practices on Sunday, with about a two-hour workout in the Indoor Practice Facility. One of the top performers was 6-foot-7 receiver Melvin Harris, who made a couple nice catches downfield.

Harris, a redshirt sophomore, is someone the Rebels have liked for a few years now. He’s obviously tall and is also very athletic, but the coaches have been waiting for his hands and route-running to catch up to his natural gifts. On Sunday, he showed he might be able to give the Rebels a lift this fall — which they really need since receiver is one of the thinnest spots on the roster.

As Ole Miss receiver Jesse Grandy took the handoff and bolted toward the left side of the field, the defense responded accordingly, shifting into position to stuff the play for a very short gain. Instead, they were about to look like suckers.

"OOPS" on the O-line? Proud for the D-Line but we have to find consistency on the O-Line or you could put a young Elway back there and he would get hammered into bad throws.

I also can tell you that Stanley has a more level-head than any QB we had on campus last year....he's sure of himself and not easily rattled.....he will be our guy.

I think the OL will come along. They are going against a DL that has potentially 4 players (Powe, Scott, Laurent, and Lockett) that will be preparing for draft day this time next season (last DL I can think of with that kinda depth in a SR class was LSU in 2003). If the OL can steadily improve as the spring goes on, commit themselves to getting even better over the summer, then we will be ok.

Thunder, I think that was even evident in the Cotton Bowl, apart from the interception (where he just didn't see the guy before it was too late) he looked much more poised and confident in the pocket than Jevan. No happy feet.

As far as the sacks, without knowing if they were all first line D-line against first line O-line it is tough for me to draw any conclusions, I do believe that D-Line is the strength of this team, so that doesn't totally surprise me.
