Notes
Martez Eastland looks good, short stocky, he wears number 44 and is 6’0 235
Masoli wears 8, he is short and stocky, 5’11 220.
Grandy has added a little meat to his frame, he looks a little thicker, should help him out this fall
53, Jason jones looks awesome, really god build, 6’2 250
Don’t expect lekenwic Haynes to play this year, he is playing DE now not LB
Carlton martin 6’2 270 is wearing 92, he looks very good on the hoof, much better than corey gains did last year.
Speaking of corey gains (58) , he really filled out nicely, he had some baby weight on him last year, he looks good now.
Cliff Coleman looks good physically, not skinny. He is wearing 33 and is 5’10 170
As indicated above frank Crawford is playing corner now, he looks to be second string and could get some pt this year at nickel or dine. He changed his number to 5, he brings a different dynamic to corner as he is a little taller at 6’0
Nathan Stanley looked good all day making all the passes, they rolled him out, play action under center, in the shotgun, he looked really, really good. He was calm, cool and collective (jevan was none of these) he did have one bad pass. In pass scale he threw a ball over the middle and mike marry jumped out of his shoes to grab it and return it for a td
The wide receiver position “Z” is being played by breaux and grandy. It will be interesting to see if breaux slips up and grandy takes his spot, but breaux looked good today. All the receivers looked good today.
Speaking of receiver, korvic nea, 28 5’8 165 was playing a lot of WR in team today. He caught a deep post thrown by masoli over the middle. He had to go up in the air against marcus temple to catch it.
We were definitely running some option today. All the QB’s were, Stanley, masoli, and Mackey. I like Mackey, he is very athletic but he is very raw at qb I feel. He missed on a good bit of his throws. Evan ingram is really bad and will be assigned scout team duties (no surprise)
Rodney soctt and jeff scott look very, very similar they are both 5’8. The different is Rodney is 30lb’s heavier. Jeff is extremely quick; he got a lot of snaps today and broke a few for big gains.
Clarence Jackson looks a lot like DT. LB core is looking good.
Charles sawyer is getting some work with the 1’s id look for him to start before too long
Mackey is not a pure passer, he has to work on it, but he is extremely athletic, wish we would play him at wr
We ran a end around with korvic from the WR position
Justin smith had a few good plays and got in the backfield. We need him to develop
Oline doesn’t look that good, the dline is dominating them. Masoli and other qb’s have no time to do anything in team.
Cameron wigham had some good plays in team, getting into the backfield.
We ran a few shuttle, shuffle, or shuddle passes that looked like we took them from Florida’s play book.
All the QB’s ran the same offense, masoli didn’t run things nate didn’t. we did run the option from shotgun/pistol formation.
Terrell brown 57, 6’11 390 is a monster and will eat you. He often blocks two people while not trying. He’s a work in progress but he is HUGE.
Jared Mitchell 6’3 190 looks good, not great and can possibly contribute this year. We need him to.
Nick parker looked ok, nothing special, I think he may develop into a FB but he played RB today, he was wearing number 4 and is 6’2 210
HR Greer got waaay too much playing time today I think.
Devin Thomas didn’t get many snaps but looked good as usual, showed speed and quickness. I wish we would use him more
Z mason looked like he lost some fat, hopefully he can contribute this year. I didn’t pay much attention to him or ferbia allen today.
Brishen matthews needs to cut his hair, its an embarrassment.
I’m sure I missed some stuff, if you have more questions let me know

All are expected except Eric Mitchell. I'm really glad V. Sanders made it today though.FootballFanatik wrote:hmmmm needs to cut his hair huh?

They cannot practice until they have been accepted into school. Once they are accepted into school, they can practice pending NCAA approval, but those players have yet to be accepted into school. In most cases, they lack a transcript or other bit of paperwork required to be accepted into school.FootballFanatik wrote:does anyone know how practice went yesterday?
