I saw on ESPNU Coach Nutt said that Masoli has not yet been approved to play by the NCAA What is going on with that?
Also something I never understood, maybe I missed it being over here in Atlanta but Why did Snead really leave? What was he thinking? Could someone with more knowledge on this please fill me in

I think that Snead was thinking that more than likely his future career was not in football so he might as well get the football attempt out of the way. As far as the Masoli waiver, it has only been three weeks since we requested it. The NCAA rarely turns things around in three weeks.

He left because Houston Nutt is a quarterback killer.

Simple enough for ya?

Simple, but not true. What exactly is a "quarterback killer"?

What's your problem I asked a question because I didn't know Masoli didn't have a waiver yet, When I heard Coach Nutt say that on the ESPNU it caught me off guard so I ask on a site where I knew they would know.WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE A LSU FAN?

Did you not smell it in the air when you read my post? That would be sarcasm.

And when reading grewupinoxford's posts, I smell a slight aroma of bacon. He smells way too much like an Arky-Troll in disguise.

Ultimately, I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Snead left Ole Miss was the same reason he left Texas and the same reason he backed out of his committment to Florida.

But, with that, we got two good years out of him even though he frustrated us some. I am grateful to him for being a rebel and being a part of the successful teams we've seen the last two years.

Sasquatch
You sir are a jerk!
Let me tell you a few things I moved to Oxford in 75", went to Bramlett Elematary, went to Jr. High at what was the "Black" high School" back in the segeration days, The 3 home games a year that Ole Miss didn't play in Jackson I got into free by selling cokes. Watched John Forcade be the best Quaterback since Archie and then throw away a career with a agrement with the Canadian League that was leaked out before the draft. Went to Oxford High where I was a proud Charger where I fought hard as a split end / free saftey on Friday nights and ran that dang hill that the home stands are built into till I puked. On Sunday Afternoons we would meet at Vaught/Hemmingway and we played an never ending game of 20 on 20 all airball tackle on the turf. I watched past greats like Hammerhead Thomas, Buford McGee, Gentle Ben Williams, and Kent Austin play. I watched Steve Sloan coach Ole MIss to many 3-8 seasons during some lean years When I started going to the games there was no stands in the North endzone the turf entended another 30 yards to where the track use to be the south end zone were a newly installed metal stands. I spent time in the old Student Union/Grill that use to be beside the Library up from the old gym before the Student Union was built. I remember watching Greek Day at the spot where the Baseball Staduim sits now. Speaking of Baseball I watched many a game in the old Staduim that was beside the Football Staduim where the field was named for the father of a couple of friends of mine that person was Jake Gibbs. In my high School years Oxford only allowed hot beer to be sold in stores so we would travel north thru Abbeville on the old Hwy7 not the 4-lane that's there now to the county line to Ben's & Todds where they sold to anybody reguardless of age I was there the same night Ben was killed in a hold up. Once I got old enough to get into the Bars I went to the Abby and its maze of rooms and heard some great rock, I flunked every afternoon class I ever had because of Happy Hour at the Warehouse Bar, not to mention Foresters, the Gin and a few others. I was a SAE pledge and spent my first Homecoming guarding the stupid Lions that sat infront of our house on Frat Row, Back in those days a on campus Home game was a huge party deal and Frat Row was cordoned off and all the Frats had open parties. I saw Shaun Thuey play before the movie
Me And My Father hunter above Holly Springs and every opening morning I ate pancakes at the National Guard Armory at the before daylight breakfast. Spent countless hours on the "beach" below Sardis d*** despite the smell of fish. In high School I spent many hours sitting at the base of the Confederate Soldier statue on the south side of the square. We also use to hang out in the parking lot in front of Nelsion's Department store. At the west end of town by the Ramanda Inn there was a drive in the huge screen faced the road and after midnight they use to play x-rated movies, we would park at the Ramanda Inn and sit on the bank along side the drive in and watch the fun. I was there way before they built the mall, I was there before They had a Mcdonlds, the Sonic was the only place to get fast food. I wrecked my car on South Lamar before the hospital wrecked into Dr Lamar's parking lot that was a 5 foot drop from the road with no guard rail. I use to hang out with the older men at Pervis's Pool hall just off the square learned how to shoot snooker there. In high school there wasn't much to do so we cruised the track from McDonald up Universtiy Ave left on South Lamar to the square then back to McDonalds. I even worked for OLE MISS Delivery Anyone who was at Ole Miss in the mid late 70's remebers the Volkwagon Delv cars flying recklessly around campus. I remember New Dorm (a womens dorm) was orginally named for Dr. Hoar they were going to call it Hoar Hall till they woke up a realized what they were doing I also went to school with his son Ben. I went to school with the son of the atletic Director their name was Alford his son's name was John I didn't like him. In high school I dated a cheerleader at our rival Lafayette the county school She would wear my blue and gold Letter jacket with her yellow and gold cheerleader outfit I praticapted to many of the bottle rocket wars in Twin Towers Dorm. One of my good friends was a kid Tim Mullins who lived down the street his dad was the trainer of the football team I think Tim followed in his Fathers footsteps and is a trainer with Ole Miss also. There was 1 donut shop in town called Shipley's it was a dump on University ave. they later mover to a nicer place off of North Lamar went to school with his son also, his name was Randy but I don't know where the name Shipley came from their last name was Denny. I could go on for another couple of thousand words......

Now I hope you enjoyed this trip down memory lane in Oxford and I hope it will make you think about who you insult.
I guess all of this is about my last post when in my opinion I didn't like the fact that we have 2 D1 AA teams on the schedule. You should grow up and learn to discuss things like a man

I won't discuss the other stuff in your post, but we do not have two D1 AA (or FCS if you will) teams on our schedule.

You done? Let me give you a piece of advice:

Before you post here again, take the hand of your choice, reach around behind you, and pull the stick out of your butt.
