From what I understand he is being heavily recruited my OM & State. He was at the Egg bowl Saturday on an officail visit for OLE MISS. From what i understand is... an OM fan went up to him and jerked his badge off his neck because they thought he was cheering for msu. Does anyone have any information on this?

Two things if it is true:
1) that "fan" is lucky that Mr. Johnson has a good demeanor because he's quite a physical speciman and could probably have killed the fan without breaking a sweat
2) I would hope that the "fan" was summarily removed from the stadium

I heard that he posted that on his networking site. He is now committed to msu. What are our fans thinking?

Every school has its share of idiot fans. Always have and always will. He committed to MSU in October.

Oh..ok. I didn't realize he had BEEN committed to State. So, I guess the "incident" didn't really hurt us, but it didn't help us either, did it?

We'll never know whether it hurt us or not, but if true it was a stupid thing to do. Most of these players realize that every school has idiot fans and that they are in a minority. I doubt that discovering that Ole Miss had an idiot fan seriously affected his opinion of the school one way or another. I'm sure that he already knew that and knows that there are like fans at MSU as well.
