I know this is in the recruiting board too but thought I would post it here. Bo Wallace just chose Ole Miss over state. Freeze is 2 for 2 in head to head battles with Mullen. Looks like that Penn State story we planted worked 8)

BTW, a lot of folks out here are upset that Texas didn't bring him in. But they are relieved that Baylor didn't get him. Guess they forgot they play us the next two years 8)

From what I understand he will enroll as soon as winter session is over and I am guessing since he knows Freeze's offense he blows all the other QB's out of the water in spring practice.Rebchuck18 wrote:This is a good commit...now let's sign him get him on Campus tonight .....and PLAY him!

he will be on campus this month. We should not play him unless he earns the spot. It should be an open competition and the best man should play. We've already tried naming a starter based on stats before he got to campus and that did not work out very well.Rebchuck18 wrote:This is a good commit...now let's sign him get him on Campus tonight .....and PLAY him!

I agree. However I do not think based on the current QB situation he will have any problem beatng out any of the folks currently on the roster.JustBlues wrote:he will be on campus this month. you never know how things are going to work out, especially when you are dealing with 20 year old young men.rebeldevotee wrote:I agree. I agree 100%....what I meant was give him a chance to play and give him as many first team reps as possible to get a feel..because we already know that the ones we have can not cut it and if he can't beat them out we really are in perilJustBlues wrote:he will be on campus this month. O yea this is fair- we're going to allow you(BB, ZD) to compete, but we already know you won't win. All we know is what we saw under Nutt. Maybe that was all there was to see - maybe not.Rebchuck18 wrote:I agree 100%....what I meant was give him a chance to play and give him as many first team reps as possible to get a feel..because we already know that the ones we have can not cut it and if he can't beat them out we really are in perilJustBlues wrote:he will be on campus this month. With seven scholarship QBs, there should be quite a comptetion-- five competing in the spring. If done right, the fires should yield a diamond or at least a lesser gemstone. Just remember that a diamond is made of the same element as that nasty black stuff that is left after a fire.bleuwolfe wrote:O yea this is fair- we're going to allow you(BB, ZD) to compete, but we already know you won't win. Once the competition is over, and hopefully the tall guy wins, we need to utilize the athletic ability of brunetti somewhere else on the team....

You guys do realize we are going to sign WIlliam Robert Wallace, right?
William Wallace is 7 feet tall.
Yes, I've heard. Kills men by the hundreds, and if he were here
he'd consume the English (or the Alabaman, Arkansan, and Louisianan) with fireballs from his eyes and bolts of
lightning from his ass. 8)

And Mackey if he sticks around.
Matt Luke better know how to TEACH, cause the OL at EMCC blocked better than our All American Tackles.
