We have a huge series that starts tomorrow vs state

The problem is that it is in stankville. No one wants to go because of that. If the town itself were more appealing, I might miss double decker to attend....but I'm not. Anyway, we need to put this series away in the first two games. Ideally, we can do that without having to use Hively, but since state just so happens to be playing their best ball of the season at this point, that is unlikely. We don't want to go into Sunday with the series on the line and none of our original starters available. The reason this series is important is threefold. First, we have the standings to consider. As it stands right now, we are tied for 2nd in the west with Arkansas (we hold the tiebreaker), and state is third. If we lose this series to state and Arkansas wins their series, all of a sudden we shoot to 4th place in the west. Secondly, we need to avoid RPI damaging losses. One loss to a state team with a relatively low rpi would hurt us...and two would be damaging. We need every bit of help we can get to be a host site. And finally, it comes down to bragging rights. Let's face it, we need them. State owned us last year and we need revenge. We have gotten off to a good start by winning one in basketball and winning the governors cup earlier this month, but a series win in baseball would be sweeter then that. Go Rebs!
