Gabe Bock of texags.com had some interesting comments in an article on last night's Ole Miss game. He reports that the crowd at Blue Bell Park was 5,445 fans, including about 1,000 Ole Miss fans. Good job, Rebel supporters! But then he says something to the effect that if the crowd and atmosphere are what it's like to be in the SEC, he can't wait for the move east.
Well, Gabe, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but that crowd was nothing like what you'll get at Arkansas, Ole Miss, LSU, South Carolina and State, for starters. Count on 8 to 10,000+ on a regular basis. As for atmosphere, nobody tops the SEC and its traditions.
